Kentucky has done nothing in the way of scheduling to prepare themself for the S. E.C. with its non-league schedule and that will show in this one, 49-14 Bama.

Cat Fans...if you had the team you had last year and was playing this years Bama team I'd be worried, but I believe you lost too much talent. The Middle Tennessee game at home showed y'all have some problems.

Maybe your QB is better than I've seen and I've seen several games. Tulane played us very hard and did a great job stopping the run. Some fans are saying we don't pass the ball very well, but the way we have been running it didn't need the pass.

Do you think you could have put 30 points on Georgia at their place?

Things to look for.....Our punt returner is very crafty and is hard to bring down. Like yourselves we use several running backs....If forced to pass we have a very tall freshman reciever who has great hands, we were 14-17 against the Dawgs and we have two tightends who also have caught several.....Place kicker is very good....Had a punt blocked last week so might not happen this week....Will blitz the young QB and if has to go out for anytime they know the backup hasn't played....Plays man to man on the wideouts which allows a pass rush....Under the Bear we lost two home games in Tuscaloosa...Bear isn't there anymore, but our coach who has seen some big games is.

Good Luck and hope everyone enjoys the game.

I wouldn't be worried with UK's offense last year..

Alabama has never lost to UK in the state of Alabama.

I have a feeling one of UK's running backs really steps up in this game. Gary Williams is getting back into the swing of things and if we can eat the clock and not make mistakes then I think UK can win this game. I have a hard time any one is going to score more than 3 tds on this team all year. GO CATS!

Alabama-17

Kentucky-20

My preview:

Cats are able to stop the run, and force Bama to throw. When they throw, Lindley starts to pick them off. :)

Since LSU two years ago, Kentucky has never been "blown out" or anything close. And by that, I don't expect losing by more than two touchdowns (certainly not 49-14)

Cats hang onto win after interception on 'Bama's last drive.

If we don't turn the ball over and can stop Bama's run game this will be a very good game. If we can't or don't do those things it could get ugly. If both teams play their best I'll go with Bama 21-10.

Why would they schedule a lot of tough opponents before the SEC this year with such an inexperienced offense? UL was a rivalary game and at UL, so that was a a big time environment they have won at. This team right now is full of confidence after being 4 and 0. When you play in the SEC your not going to really go out and just get a lot of tough non conference teams, because in college football with how it is set up, you can't afford to lose really, and your basically already guarnteed to lose atleast one or two in the SEC as it is.

(I usually don't like Ohio State pot shots, but the door is wide open on this one)

Ohio State has done nothing in the way of any of their schedule to prepare themselves for the SEC over the past three years...:D:sssh:

That is funny right there. LOL

Bama should win this one with ease. UK's lack of offense will finally be exploited this week.

As a true Cat fan I gotta root for the BIG BLUE!

UK 21

'Bama 20

...and then I'll wake up and it will have been a nice dream.

Remember when UK beat eventual national champs LSU?

That is why they play te game! UK 28
