Sometimes I'll ask my dogs (I have 2) if they are hungry or if they want to go outside and they bark which creeps me out because sometimes I think they are trying to say yes.

Dogs can be pretty smart... Lots of dogs seem to eventually learn that the words "food" and "outside" are a good thing to them.

I was expecting a Sigfried and Roy ending....

Whoever I marry is in for a rude awakening because I'm not getting married till its agreed that my first born son can be named Ryne :D

I have a buddy named Ryne..

Simply beautiful. Inspiring. I would like to email this to my wife. Someone tell the technology illiterate Outlaw how to do it!!

That was pretty cool. I was honestly waiting for him to just eat them alive, In fact I couldn't even scroll down on the thread because I didn't want to ruin the punch line or what not. Really neat.

Yes, I cried. As most of you know, I am a true animal lover. My nickname in school was Ellie May. I had all kinds of animals growing up...name it, I had it!

LOVED the video!

Great video! I'll say this though, that took some stones for those guys to do that. When the lion started running at me, I don't know what I'd have done.

Admittingly, I was too.

That was a cool video.

A nickname that was also given to my daughter several years ago.

So much so that I sort of have my doubts about the legitimacy of it but do believe it I guess...Super cool! :thumb:

It definately true. Don't know this just came up, but I saw the full 1 hour documentary on PBS a few years ago about this lion. This vid is from that show. There's a lot more to the story, like other lions dying, this lion trying to approach people (nearly getting shot) etc. It was a pretty interesting story. I'm not a huge fan of doing this to wild animals though.

On a related note: I live near the Louisvile Zoo. As you may or may not know, Tony Stewart donated his pet monkey to our zoo, because he was getting "wild" (no duh) and they feared he'd attack the family. Anyway, I heard today he sneaks into the zoo quite often to visit his former pet. I assume this came out since they are in Indy this weekend, and he is/has planned to make a trip in. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the number 20 Home Depot car in the zoo lot from now on! :D

That's great.

I guess I'm a little late in seeing this, but that was awesome.

I really do wish people were more like animals.
