Mason Co. has soph. QB that should turn some heads.

 

He filed in a game or 2 last year and looked pretty good.

 

Gets the starting job this year. Should be fun to say the least !:banana:

I coached against this kid two years ago when he was an 8th grader and he could have started for 75% of the high schools in this state then. Best middle school QB I've ever seen. Rowan County has a good soph quarterback as well, and the Arthur kid at Boyd County is playing behind a senior QB but should be a good one down the road too.

Freshmen,Thomas & Bo Wilson. Both start on Meades varsity. Thomas at corner and back up QB. Bo at wideout. These kids are cousins. Also they have another cousin Will that starts linebacker for the Greenwave. You will hear alot about this trio in the coming years.

He's got a ways to go ( so to speak ) learning the game and living up to the hype ( easier said then done )but his build and arm strength reminds me of J. Burke from Lex. Cath. a couple years ago.

Always interested in what the High Schools have coming in.

 

Does anyone see a 9th or 10th grader making a big impact on the High School level?

 

What about the QB from Henry County he is a 10th grader and they are 4-0 have not given up any points.:fire:

Rule 13

Greenup County has a lot of talent in the sophomore class. Kitchen and Grayson will probably both start on "o" and "d" line's. Corey Lyle could turn out to be the suprise RB in the area this year. Also watch out for receiver Ryerson. He and Craft could connect quite a bit this year.

Conner Hempel - Ryle QB

Chris Kelly - NCC LB

Jake Rebhols - CCC LB

Daylen Hall Louisville St.Xavier. Daylen has snuck up on the state of Kentucky. Injured the past two seasons he has exploded on to the scene this season at the varsity and jv level. Plays four positions all at a very high level. Speed is very good for a sophomore at 4.4. Very bright future.

Didn't Ryerson leave GCHS?

Yes he moved to Utah I believe with his father.

Mason Rister will be an impact QB next year. (Greenup County)

Boyle County has an outstanding sophmore class. JV is undefeated (7-0) and 4 sophmores play on varsity, who is also undefeated.:ylsuper:

Quinanno (sp) from Boone is a sophomore I believe.

Donovan Burton is a freshman TB and OLB for the (8-0) #4 Green County Dragons in Class 2A. He is currently the second leading tackler on defense with 68 tackles and also has over 200 yards rushing on just 15 or so carries. Nice speed and a hard nosed runner who will flat hit you in the mouth !

Quinanno (sp) from Boone is a sophomore I believe.
