April 12, 200818 yr Alrighty.....So since my hubby has been home from Afghanistan, we have been eating out a ton. (Great for my some what of a diet ) Any way...I was wondering where everyones favorite place to eat was or even just your favorite food. We had Mexican tonight, and I have decided I am more of Tex Mex fan like tumbleweed than real Mexican food. So lets hear whats good out there. :dancingpa

April 12, 200818 yr My favorite place to eat is Lafincas here in Ashland. It's great. I eat there atleast twice a week. The one in Morehead is horrible though.

Steak: High End Jeff Ruby's for less money Stoney River in Louisville or Malone's (Lex) Mexican: #1 El Azul (Williamson, Pikeville, Hazard, Pburg) #2 Mia Mexico Lexington Italian: Malinnis (sp), Bucca De Bepo Louisville, Oliver's (Lex), Martinis (Lville) Seafood: Captains Quarters (Lville), Bone Fish (Bang Bang Shrimp is great) Hometown places: Pasqualli's (Morehead), Michael's (Irvine), Billy Ray's (Pburg), CJ Maggies (Ashland) Bar BQ: Staton's (Prospect), Corkey's (Lexington), Marks Feed Store (Louisville) Pizza: Giovannis (Louisa), Donattos (Lex), Wick's (Lville), Pasqualli's (Morehead) Ice Cream/Milkshakes: Dee's (Louisa), Little Ice Cream Place by Cave Run (Morehead) Those are just off my head and I didn't put Northern or Western KY in there. Some places have other locations but the one's I listed were the best of the locations that I've had.
April 12, 200818 yr I was interdouced to Mongollian Grill a few nights ago and I think I love but not sure yet. I live across the road from Malone's but never go there and eat. What are the price's like there. I've heard its the best place in KY to get a steak.

What are the price's like there. I've heard its the best place in KY to get a steak. I've had it numerous times and I'm still amazed. The food is great but the atmosphere is out of this world. I never get the same thing...it's definately a place to experiment with foods.
April 12, 200818 yr Pasquales in Maysville!! We have one in NKY....yummy. My favorite pizza place (which I don;t think thay have around here anymore) is Mr Gattis. We went to Gatlinburg last month, and had some there. I forgot how good that place was.
April 12, 200818 yr Lets see, if you're in Bardstown or surrounding area, you want to eat at Hometown Pizza in Bloomfield, Kreso's in downtown Bardstown, Mordecai's on Main over in Springfield, for pie or old fashioned vegetables Kurtz in Bardstown, or if you just want to hook up an IV to clog your arteries, eat at Tom Pig's in Bardstown.
April 12, 200818 yr My two favorite places.... The best "true mexican" can be found in La Grange at Acapulcos. Then, in Commisky, IN, if you are ever up that way, visit the "Twigs and Sprigs" tea room up there. It is on an old Civil War era farm that was visited by Morgan's raiders. They also have a wonderful greenhouse and gardens. Word of advice - guys, unless you are very comfortable with your manhood, visit on the weekends! Otherwise it is nearly 100% women.
