Now, for here in our area I beieve that "Ruby Tuesdays" in Ashland is really the best overall place to eat out. I personally think that they have the best Ribs, Burgers and even Steaks in Ashland with "the Outback" at the top of the list for steaks as well. The Texas Roadhouse in Ashland is imo way overrated. So, depending on what you want I would say just for here in our area............

 

Ruby Tuesdays - imo best overall: Ribs, steaks and burgers are all excellent.

Outback - Steaks are excellent

Boston Beanery - very good

T.J. Maggies - also very good

Applebee's - deserves mention as well

LaFincas - pretty good mexican

 

Texas Roadhouse - WAY overrated imo plus questionable service.

(we have a skyline in our area now but at least for this one, I don't know what that crap they are serving is but it dang sure ain't chili! - lol)

We are thinking about going to Fuji Steak house tonight, its in Florence. Much cheaper but on the same line as Benihanas (sp?) Where they cook in front of you. Hubby goes back to work Monday so we need one nice and fun night out.

Penn Station or Chik Fil A. I could eat both everyday.

We have one in NKY....yummy. My favorite pizza place (which I don;t think thay have around here anymore) is Mr Gattis. We went to Gatlinburg last month, and had some there. I forgot how good that place was.

I grew up eating at the one in Crescent, and spent many Friday nights after games eating and hanging out there. There cheese sticks were awesome, and I haven't been able to find any that have come close.

Yat's - Great Cajun and Creole food at very cheap prices ($5.50 per entree, $6.30 for half and half orders). The menu changes daily and I live about a mile from one of the Yat's locations. I am one of their best customers.

 

Bazbeaux - The best pizza that I have ever eaten anywhere at any price.

 

G. T. South - Great barbecue and the source of my favorite bottled sauces.

 

Kolache Factory - This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Kolaches are slightly sweet pastries stuffed with a variety of meats, eggs, vegetables, cheeses and or fruits.

If you're ever visiting Jackson Hole, Wyoming, by the way, you want to eat Nora's Fish Creek Inn in Wilson, or the Blue Lion or the Gun Barrell in downtown Jackson, or Stiegler's on Teton Village Road.

Quick and delicious: Taco Bell

 

Worth the wait: BBC (Bluegrass Brewing Company. The Bison Burger is particularly fantastic, with a pitcher of Double Dribble or Bourban Brew beer... oh, so fantastic)

I thought Gold Star was the Friday night hangout when you were in HS? It was when I was still in school.

When away from my county I like to go to Applebees or O'Charlie's.

In county I like the country cooking at Dooley's Diner in Booneville.

Knuk-N-Futz in Taylor Mill. IF you are in that area it is such a great place to get wings and other great food.

I try to stay far away from that place, but to each his own. I'm sure there are plenty of places I like that you wouldn't. Then again, maybe the Taco Bell you go to is better than the one around here.
