The family with the 3 kids weren't given any financial help and had to withdraw all of their children, these kids didn't play any sports, yet a great basketball player that lived in another state was provided transportation and a scholarship.

I know for a fact that Rose Hill gives discounts to families with multiple children, but that's for another thread. This thread is about Dakota Euton leaving Rose Hill. Let's leave the discussion to that.

I have heard Lexington Christian, Lexington Catholic, or Scott Co. What I have also heard is that Chad Jackson will be coming with him also. The most recent rumor (Key word rumor) is that Kyle Macy will become head coach at LCA and that they will both attend. It makes some sense because I am pretty sure his daughter goes there. This is just a rumor so don't bash me if I am totally off.

Give the kid a break. It's like Beatle Mania or something. He is just a 17 year old kid. After reading and filtering through all these post, I have come to a conclusion that this thread is not even about D.Euton. This thread is about the dislike of his father from the surrounding communities. Just what has this kid's father done to upset so many people?

1) Eutons do not have custody of Chad Jackson. 2) Clay Euton works for and engineering firm called Woolpert. 3) The office in/near Scott County. 4) Scott County is most likely where he will be attending. AND 5) The Jacksons hail from Lexington, not Ironton??

Why would some of you on here not want the kid to be elgible? I am sure that he will be but it just seems that if it were an issue that everyone would want him to be elgible and be proud of him for his hard work and dedication to the game. This kid is in the gym more than anyone, he is always working on his game and it is not his fault that they are moving so lets all stand behind him and hope that he does great wherever he goes.

I believe they should turn away students that just want to come and play sports. Euton and the players from the OJ era are the players I am talking about...

 

Euton came in 4th grade. He stayed when OJ and the boys left. He toughed it out with a couple losing seasons. He stayed loyal to the school!! Whatever beef you have with Rose Hill is obvious at this point and it is getting in the way of the discussion about Dakotah Euton leaving. This thread isn't "Why Rose Hill is bad". :thumb:Thank you. After reading the half truths on this thread I had to go back to the to the first post to make sure I was still on D. Euton leaving Rose Hill. How about we stay on that topic for a while and stop bashing Rose Hill.

Rose Hill is a constant revolving door of basketball talent.

Dakotah knows how the folks at Rose Hill feels about him. During his 7 years at Rose Hill he has been nothing but a fine young man. The school that he transfers to is very fortunate because they are getting a fine young man.

 

Everyone's concerns about Rose Hill are much appreciated but I feel certain that we will continue to compete.

 

What is comical is how many of these post are way off base. Mr. Euton has already accepted a job and it's not with Toyota, Mr. Euton's employer (Woolpert) is closing at the end of this year, Mrs. Jackson has custody of her son and has since he was born. She does not work with either Euton, the Jacksons have never lived in Ironton, and Dakotah never transfered to Rose Hill unless 3rd graders transfer but shortly he will transfer from Rose Hill.

The Eutons are great people and I wish the best for Dakota where ever he goes. I've traveled with and spent a lot of time with them and found them to be very special people. Also ,I wish the best for Chad Jackson.:ylsuper:
