That is what everyone is speaking about, throughout the thread.

For some that say that Euton is overrated, probably ought to realize he just got #115 post on this website covering his relocation in 6 hours, so he must be a pretty good player. Thats a post every 3 minutes, pretty impressive.

Everyone needs to just leave the young man alone, just leave him and his family alone and wish them the best. Especially if you are a RH hater, dont bash the family and kid, just be happy now, you got your wish.

I would still love to see some of the players head this way down Rt 23.

I believe it has more to do with the way players come and go at RH.

I know for a fact that Clay's job was in question for about a year. A friend of mine worked at the same place and was lucky enough to find an equal job across the river. As for him, who knows. But if he is an engineer, you ain't finding jobs around here. If the company moves to Lexington, then you go or take a HUGE pay cut. As for Dakotah, good luck. As for Jackson, why would he leave?

I dont know the family or the situation, but someone did post on another forum that Jackson lived with Euton, or that the Eutons was legal guardians of Jackson, so that would be a good reason for him to leave as well. Plus, wasnt his family from Lexington originally. I know his older brother played in a game a few years back against Hazard that I saw while he was with Bryan Station.

My grandpa told me not to kick a hornet's nest.

I think that people can spin things however they want. Getting to the true heart of the truth is another story entirely. I know there have been talks of moving for quite some time now. My opinion is that if the Eutons didn't want to leave Rose Hill, Mr. Euton could easily find another job in Ashland. They wanted to go to a place that plays against better competition every night and I don't blame them. In fact, I support them.

I hope someday I can give my sons the best opportunity available to them. If it takes moving to provide that opportunity, I'll do it. If to ensure they wouldn't have to sit out a year I need to lose my job, I'll do it. Whatever is best for them is what I'll do. IMO that is what is going on here.

No, I'm not saying anyone is lying. Just posing the truth to benefit their own interests.

Wow is all I can say to that. And I hope that those that have read this entire thread can enlighten me as to how I've benefited.

I don't know about his living situation or guardianship, but if he was here on his own... Why would he leave?

I dont know enough about that to comment on that. Not too much talk about Rose Hill in my area, other than their skill.

And at what other local school does this not take place?

None of them. Every local school has kids coming and going from year to year.

There has been a ton of talent go thru RH the last few years, but none seems to graduate there for one reason or another, hope this helps clear it up for you.

Can some of the RH supporters enlighten other posters about why that this is?

Like I said earlier. I really do not understand what the big deal is here.

I think a lot of these comments are out of spite. I see nothing wrong with what RH has done in the last few years. I'd bet a lot of money that any other team in the 16th region would have been drooling at the chance to have the likes of Euton, Jackson, Mayo or Walker play for their team no matter where they came from.

Let's not act like we are above what Rose Hill is allowed to do, because I'm sure if you wouldnt have to dig very deep to find that a lot of our local schools have had their share of transfers.

Can some of the RH supporters enlighten other posters about why that this is?

I'm not a RH fan and I don't know the answer to that. I would like to know why it is so important to you ? If the kids that played at Rose Hill stayed for their entire high school careers it would likely mean more loses for our other local schools.

I guess I just don't see the big deal with the kids not graduating from Rose Hill.

Can some of the RH supporters enlighten other posters about why that this is?

Since Rose Hill started a basketball program how many students that have played ball for them haven't graduated from Rose Hill. I can assure you that the percentage is very small. Yes there were 6 or 7 that left when OJ Mayo left, but you guys act like it happens all the time.

OK let me take a stab at this. IMO, the players that have came in to RH only came for sports and as a Christian school, IMO, this is totally what the school is there for.

So your saying that because RH is a Christian School that they shouldn't have sports ?
