Dakotah Euton leaving Rose Hill

I have no problem with Mr. Euton leaving and playing where ever he wants next year but, pleeeease. There are kids all over the state that didn't get to play this past year because of varios situations that were ruled ineligible by the SS. Oops, I meant the KHSAA. Sorry! If they all had been as high profile as this young man they probably would not have lost a year of eligibility. Let's not be hypocritical.

He's moving, end of story. Has nothing to do with profile.

I wish the Eutons the best. They have served Rose Hill, the 64th District and the 16th Region well. I have seen them put countless hours in at Rose Hill and not all has been about sports. For whatever reason they are leaving the area is non of my business or anyone on BGP. If Dakota had been at any public school in the Region this thread would have died out along time ago. May God bless the Eutons wherever they may end up.

I believe you forgot to add that they served these places for a couple of years like former players of this school...

Is there something wrong with the 10th, 11th and 12th grade teachers that make these kids want to leave....

First off he was notified a while back that his job was being terminated and the company was shutting down. To get on here and bash or mock Christianity like you are doing is a big shame on you. Personally with all your post you sound a lot like a lost soul. Maybe you should check yourself, because you sure get off on bashing kids. I will guarntee this, Clay and Pam and Dakota will not lose an once of sleep over what you have to say. They are great people and will be sadly missed as friends more than for Euton's playing ability and the RH faithful understand that, you my friend don't

To the Euton's:L Coach Davis wishes you guys the best where ever you end up.

We can attend Rose Hil Church now, I think some people left the school so now there is room...:sssh:

By the way, I havent heard anyone really bashing any kids on here. So please reframe from saying this. If posters are breaking the rules I am sure the people that run this site will take care of it....

I'm far from a Rose Hill fan but it seems that a lot of the posts in this thread are out of spite.

Honestly, the kid is moving for whatever reason, why is it such a big deal ?

Sorry ol dad but this site has had alot of mouthing and to get on the bandwagon about why he is leaving and motives is bashing, remember a lot of the kids at this school read this site and have had to here the rough stuff all year

If Euton is good enough to go to UK we are in bad shape at UK, the Faulker boy give him all he wanted in the regions and he is 6 feet tall. I hope he improves a lot over the next two seasons if not I don't think we will see him at UK.

He has two more years to develope his game so It's a little early to throw him under the bus. At this point he is no where close to being ready to compete in the SEC but I think his family will make a good decision where he will go to school next year with some good coaching he could be a dandy. Good luck Dakota and I hope I see you at UK in a few years.

Dakotah knows how the folks at Rose Hill feels about him. During his 7 years at Rose Hill he has been nothing but a fine young man. The school that he transfers to is very fortunate because they are getting a fine young man.

Everyone's concerns about Rose Hill are much appreciated but I feel certain that we will continue to compete.

What is comical is how many of these post are way off base. Mr. Euton has already accepted a job and it's not with Toyota, Mr. Euton's employer (Woolpert) is closing at the end of this year, Mrs. Jackson has custody of her son and has since he was born. She does not work with either Euton, the Jacksons have never lived in Ironton, and Dakotah never transfered to Rose Hill unless 3rd graders transfer but shortly he will transfer from Rose Hill.

Well, sure, there's that but.....:sssh:

History doesn't lie. Rose Hill has been involved over the past 7 or 8 years with more than one of these situations. I am not saying the school or the family is wrong. All I am saying is that he is leaving a school that has a history of losing high profile players after a year or so when they don't pan out. He is a high profile player whose family have most likely been advised as to how to move and remain eligible. There are several kids within 30 miles of my locale that have lost 1 or 2 years of eligibility and had no chance of continuing their playing careers. If they had been as high profile as this young man they would have played. PERIOD. Hypocrisy is fact. They are high school kids and they should not be treated any different regardless of their situation. Less than 150 kids statewide will play basketball at the collegiate level from Ky. next year. Are we planning on overthrowing the SS by letting kids play ball?

I understand that kids get on here and read the site....

And apparently someone else didn't see the first game, when a 6' 1" Evan Faulkner, in the 2nd half pushed Mr. Euton around like he was on skates, kept him out of the paint, and pretty much made him a non-factor in the second half. By himself, no doubles, no triples, one on one.:thumb:

Euton has scholarship offers and is committed and 5-11 Faulkner does not. What's the real point here?

Very well said....

Thats the thing that upsets me is that Rh seems to be a school to get some exposure and thats it. It has nothing to do with the eduation or the beliefs that the school has....

I had 2 older children go from public to private school. I taught at the private school. I put them in a private school because of busing in Jefferson co. , and the education system. They did play sports and cheer.

Well, first I was rebutting another post..However, if you would like me to make a point, I guess it would be that he needs to hit the weights and work on his game. As for offers...........Yes, Faulkner has some. Committed, no.:thumb:

Name the offers. Be proud. Since you mentioned Euton struggled against Faulkner, share the offers.
