If Euton is only a sophomore, I know three 6'5 sophomores who are guards at Holmes in Pittman and both Johnson brothers who are only one 6'8 big man away from a state championship not only their junior, but also senior year.

You people don't know what you are talking about. If it were possible for the Euton's to stay at Rose Hill they would. They are very happy with the school and the situation there. Just because you didn't read in the paper of Mr. Euton losing his job doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Dakotah knows how the folks at Rose Hill feels about him. During his 7 years at Rose Hill he has been nothing but a fine young man. The school that he transfers to is very fortunate because they are getting a fine young man.

 

Everyone's concerns about Rose Hill are much appreciated but I feel certain that we will continue to compete.

Mr. Euton has already accepted a job and it's not with Toyota, Mr. Euton's employer (Woolpert) is closing at the end of this year, Mrs. Jackson has custody of her son and has since he was born. She does not work with either Euton, the Jacksons have never lived in Ironton, and Dakotah never transfered to Rose Hill unless 3rd graders transfer but shortly he will transfer from Rose Hill.

I was reading the local Ashland paper today and seen alot of job listings in there. If he was so happy at Rose Hill then he would get one of these local jobs and stay. These jobs may not pay as much but people have to make due....

I don't think there is any bidding involved. Mr Euton's place of employment is closing and I understand Dakota eats a lot. Mr Euton already has a job in Lexington and I'm sure the Euton's are perfectly capable of finding the best school for Dakota without any "bidding" inuendo's. Dakota already has a scholarship, so the next two years should just be preparing him for college.

Euton and Jackson will be missed in the 16th but they are leaving for perfectly understandable reasons. They represented Rose Hill well and I know everyone at Rose Hill wishes them nothing but the best.

They were fun to watch for the last few years.

Hopefully they will end up somewhere and get another shot at those Elliot County boys again:thumb:

Rose Hill did defeat Elliott County when they were not ranked in the top 30. At least they claim at least one top 20 win this millenium.

So as an earlier poster said that Jackson was leaving aswell as Euton then this is wrong?

I have enjoyed watching Euton play and am sure he will do well wherever he goes. He still has four or five years to be the player he wants to be, if that's how long it takes. Most don't get that chance. I'm sure we will be able to follow his progress on BGP. Good luck and hope to see you in UK blue.

This is really bad news for the RH fans on this board and I sympathize with you. First the OJ experience and now this. I'm also sorry to see some of the crass remarks made on here by some fans about your misfortune. Best wishes to the Eutons wherever they decide to live.
