In last night's debate, Obama stated that his average donation was around $109.

 

1 million time $109 = $109 million

 

1 million is a very impressive number.

I was looking at the donation numbers and as near as I can figure he has about 125,000 donors as of 1/31/08. Now there's no doubt that he has received as many small individual contributions as all the other candidates combined. But one million?

Democratic turnouts are enormous in the primaries, Obama has doubled the states to Hillary and has won 11 in a row. I know you don't want to believe it but try to find a way to "spin this".

They said on the news that many of the contributers are giving to 'mini bundlers', those giving small amounts as a group in $1, $5, $10, or $20 amounts. Not sure how they are counting these officially...

Imagine what effects these donations could have had on communities if all of this money had been donated to churches and other charities. I feel the same way about donations on both sides.
