February 13, 200818 yr I thought everyone made the SEC tourney. You said a loss to LSU and its "over". However, they could not win another game in the regular season and it still wouldn't be over.
February 13, 200818 yr Worst losses against current SEC teams Alabama (25) 83-58 in 1990 Auburn (19) twice Arkansas (17) in 1992 Florida (17) Three times Georgia (15) in 1990 LSU (35) 76-41 in 1987 Ole Miss (20) in 1927 Mississippi State (13) in 1985 South Carolina (13) in 2002 Tennessee (28) in 1968 Vanderbilt (41) tonight
February 13, 200818 yr I think Kentucky got jobbed, had the clock operator not stopped the clock with that second left, Kentucky escapes with the win. Wait, nevermind. Everything has been said and been covered, Cats are NIT bound. Will 22 thousand people show up at Rupp to watch a glorified scrimmage of a 2nd rate tournament? Yes....mainly because it is UK's future...they'll show up...what else is there to do in March.
February 13, 200818 yr 6-1 against the weakest SEC in decades, or a 40 point loss in the weakest SEC in decades....which stands out more? Don't worry, I'll wait. It doesn't matter what stands out. If they finish 12-4 in the SEC, they will be in.
February 13, 200818 yr Wow! Ugly is an understatement. Sure hope they got it all out of their system tonight.
February 13, 200818 yr They don't even make the SEC tourney if they lose to LSU? You said a loss to LSU and its "over". However, they could not win another game in the regular season and it still wouldn't be over. I questioned the top post, and you answered with the bottom.....they don't correlate, IMO.
February 13, 200818 yr They won't make the tournament......... Mark it down. You need to get off that limb, you have gone TOO FAR this time.
February 13, 200818 yr Author Any way you slice it, there isn't much of a chance to get over this one. Teams can be dominated early, and teams can be dominated late yet still survive. Play 40 minutes of garbage for everyone to see, and you aren't in a good spot...
February 13, 200818 yr It doesn't matter what stands out. If they finish 12-4 in the SEC, they will be in. They said on the radio today, that no team ranked 60 and higher in the RPI has become an at large tourney team. UK was 87 before tonight's game.
February 13, 200818 yr Did you hear Nessler say that no SEC team with 10 conference wins had ever been left out of the NCAA tourney? Does anyone know if this is correct? I think it is 12 wins.
February 13, 200818 yr You need to get off that limb, you have gone TOO FAR this time. You would be surprised what some people think around here.
February 13, 200818 yr Kentucky still has a shot!  77 Sam Houston St. 14-4 78 Utah St. 17-7 79 Cornell 13-5 80 California 14-8 81 Miami (OH) 12-11 82 Kentucky 12-10 83 Utah 13-8 84 Providence 13-11
February 13, 200818 yr I questioned the top post, and you answered with the bottom.....they don't correlate, IMO. You're the one that said it. I was simply stating the facts. Its not over until the SEC tourney ends.
