I bet EKU hasn't even considered Morriss and they won't.

 

Morriss had 1 successful year as a head coach. He had an NFL QB at that time running his offense. Morriss tried to squeeze some cash out of UK after the one season and they didn't bite......Rich Brooks is still here and Morriss wants to Coach HS football in a town where he owns property....my how convenient for everyone.

 

Morriss is now going to be working with 14 years olds, currently the youngest he deals with are 19 and he red shirts most of those.

 

This will be a circus in the end as Morriss bolts from Boyle Co for a bigger paycheck next year.

I agree with you. Which makes me think now that Boyle Co. can get a coach as good as Morris but without the demands and circus.

Only thing I can say is why was the superintendent so firm on his statements that the booster club wasn't involved, when now it 'appears' that they are? Obviously, I do not know this for a fact, but it looks like they are indeed involved. Hhmm. What next?

Of course with all the impact playing transfers that will now come to Boyle County and a booster club with blank checks we may be able to move up to 6A and give Trinity and St. X a run for their money, get national rankings and a reality show on MTV or ESPN.

I think if Morris goes to Boyle he will soon see that coaching at the high school level is more challenging than at the college level. There is just not as much help in assistants and the amount of athletes is, well you know the rest.
