Gunman kills 8, self at Omaha mall

 

I now have a new reason to hate going to malls. Very sad stuff.

Sad news, my prayers will go out to the victims and their families...

Very sad news indeed. A shame there wasn't a CC that could have taken him out early.

Such a tragedy to see innocent people perish.

This makes you want to stay at home and do your shopping on eBay. Its safer.

There's not much you can do if someone is determined to do something like this at a mall, Walmart, or other such stores. Anyone can walk into these stores, with plenty of victims, without being detected. It's scary, and very sad for the victims and their families.

He had an M-16. So it's not an issue.

I don't like malls , but sometimes I have to go to a speciality store. So sad someone does this to people. People are so .......... I can't get the words to explain. And yes it could happen anywhere. concert, ballgame........

Horrible news, I want to say people amaze me but in the world today nothing surprises me. Prayers go out to all involved.

Honestly, there is really nothing that can be done to stop something like this. If a gun is hidden good enough as a person walks around the mall nobody will think twice about seeing a creepy guy walking around. That changes it from sad to scary.

There was that mall shooting in Utah early this year and now this.

 

Sad, sad story.
