"Now, the free blocking zone is about this long and about this wide, anyone who starts in the free blocking zone can cut block anyone else who starts in the free blocking zone, now if you are not in the free blocking zone at the time of the snap you can't cut block, or if a defender does not start in the free blocking zone he can't be cut block, if a defender enters the free blocking just prior to the snap he can be cut blocked, now some people say the free blocking zone is tackle to tackle and other say it is ten yards wide but don't worry about that. Oh, by the way the ball has to be in the free blocking zone while a cut block is being performed, so if you do it illegally you probably won't know it, so I will flag you any way. Now, if you don't think you can legally cut block, just start high and slide down the defender and that is legal. Once the ball leaves the free blocking zone all bets are off, now Jimmy over there thinks you can cut block from a shot gun formation, but I don't so I will flag you and me and Jimmy will have a conference and argue that again, and since I am wearing the white hat I will win, so good luck.
