Oh yes it rings a bell very much, and I stuck it out. And trust me it was well worth it my senior year, when Bellevue who was undefeated at the time, came to Ludlow and lost and just really got dominated in all phases in the game. I know I really enjoyed playing the playoffs my senior year while Bellevue was sitting at home....

As you see I don'tt fight the whole long losing streak that we had, it was a VERY BAD time in the Ludlow football program. The thing is there was talent in the system, just didn't have the coaches at all, and we seen how much that changed once Hensley came. I know it was Bellevue actually that gave us our first conference win in three years. :sssh: I mean yeah you were completely right about the losing streak, yet like or not since that losing streak Ludlow has been the better program...:sssh:;)

Now lets get this off the little Ludlow and Bellevue thing, because it is about Bellevue and Dayton. I have no clue why you even brought my team up in this debate. But lets get off of this now, because it is not respectful to Dayton, and well I actually try to give people respect...

If Dayton is completely healthy then they win..If Dayton is not completely healthy, which I don't think they will be even though those guys will play but won't nearly be 100% IMO. So that is why I think Bellevue pulls it off this time. But as I said I am hoping Dayton wins again!

Well that was a very ignorant post because Coach Montgomery was not in the line shaking hands when some of the players were walking by and for anyone to think Bellevue's players don't respect him you are outside your mind. That man coach these seniors two years in pee-wee's and then two years in highschool, so you are very, very wrong there. The reason Bellevue's JV was throwing is they thought to be in first place they had to have scored more in the two games combined sorry guy, but the biggest mistake you just posted was talking about finishing the tigers season again because they most likely just made a bunch of players very mad and hopefully they will take their time walking down the middle of the field when they enter this time.. :flame:

I'm sure the kids have respect for the guy but man once you go over to the darkside its usually considered "on" !!!! Not a lot of love between these two programs so expect some slobberknocking on Friday night.

Bellevue and Dayton High Schoolers will never get along, it's just the way it is. When we get older and each has the chance to cross O'Fallon ave, we start going to college together, working together, some people even marry cross town rivals. We then realize how good the people are from these two towns. When it come to sports its pure distane for the other. That is why Dayton-Bellevue is so special. Bellevue and Dayton have always been great places to live, in a few years it will even be better. Gee where are we going to sent the kids, can't go wrong at either place. A Greendevil for life. Go DEVILS:devil:

I think it's the same for any cross-town rivals, which is what this basically is. They have talked for years about combining the two schools into one. Could you imagine that. No more Bellevue/Dayton game. What would they call it "Bellton" or "Dayvue?"

The property values in Northern Ky along the Ohio River probably doubled after last nights (Gov) results. Good for us in Kentucky our Bluegrass just turned Greener. Maybe in the near future the term River Rats loses its meaning. I'll always be a River Rat a very darn proud of it

"Daybell" not sure of the spelling, but this is what was going around in the early talks some years ago....

There is none. just joking.

Not sure about game time but brother if you are at UK and you are going to come up for a high school game as opposed to bopping around on campus then I salute you. You must be one heckuva high school sports fan.

Yessssssssssssssss!!!! A lot of that property on the Ave and below wasnt so interesting 10 yrs ago but big things are coming for both Bellevue and Dayton. If you own property in either of these river towns my suggestion is hang on for the ride.

The problem with this type of development is that those schools are losing enrollment. They are demolishing housing and putting up commercial and residential condos. And lets be honest, if you are going to dish out 500,000 for a condo, you will probaly send your kind to a private school.

Hurricane is right on about this. The development is raising property value which means less money from the state and causing less students since as he said IF you have kids they will probably go private......but the majority of people moving into these don't have a whole lot of kids to raise. This is a major issue between cities and schools. It helps the cities but has a tremendously negative impact on the school districts. Also tax breaks for the developers means no tax money for the schools on this property.

This could probably take on a whole nother thread for a separate topic if people want to discuss this.

200-300 new homes going in the top of Dayton. The new (gov) and his plans will help provide money for the schools. Bellevue and Dayton both need to swallow over 150 years of pride and combine schools. What is so funny about all this is: both schools have a dislike for one another, but both cities are packed full great quality people who care. Take 2 good situations combine them and make one great atmosphere. What ya think:devil:
