I get so tired of hearing about because its Pete Carroll everyone else is 2nd. Finally LSU gets some recognition. USC struggled to beat a bad Washington team last night. Granted LSU wasnt all the stellar in the early going with Tulane, but they did what good teams do in come out in the 2nd half and put this one away.

September 30, 200718 yr I'm giddy about UK's success, and I am beside myself with happiness about this team. I love the improvements they have been able to make and the big big strides that will mean for the program in many ways. But I will be the buzzkill and say that they are not the 8th best team in America. Not with this defense. Better than Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Oregon, South Carolina and Texas? All of them? I love the attention, but the football realist in me says no way. We might beat some of them in the right situation, but I wouldn't rank UK ahead of all of them at this point. However, we will have the chance to prove ourselves and the proof will be in the proverbial pudding. I hope I am wrong when it all shakes down.
