Eastern Kentucky W 50-10 Kent State W 56-20 (9) Louisville W 40-34 Arkansas W 42-29 Florida Atlantic W 45-17 I guess one could argue that the margin should have been bigger against Louisville, considering the Syracuse game, but the two teams are rivals. Given Louisville's performance so far this year (not just Syracuse, but Middle Tennessee, too), I think a legitimate #8 team might have beaten Louisville by a bigger margin.

They were ALL very good wins I just didn't seem all them as impressive. I think the UofL game was the most impressive win so far, being that it was such a close game and they held their composure and finished strong. I thought Eastern was impressive. Kent St. was a good win but I was surprised at how easily they ran all over UK. They had an impressive 4th quarter but I thought that Arkansas played better than UK most of the game and the turnover at the end of the first half really changed the momentum. I didn't see the FAU game but the score looks good to me so I think they had 3 impressive wins.

Louisville was the 9th ranked team in the country when the 'Cats upset them. Kentucky is responsible for knocking the Cards from the top 10 but they are not responsible for whatever happens afterwards. UK did not hire Coach K, Jurich did.

You may have already posted it, I could have just overlooked it. But where do you see UK being in terms of ranking? Personally I think #8 is alittle to high. I think the #10-#12 range would be good. But as I said earlier, with the crazy weekend we had in college football, I would be surprised to see an 2 AP writers turn in the same poll. Just a great balanced year for college football.

September 30, 200718 yr Some of you amaze me the reason that we are in the top 10 is because we have won our games and other teams ahead of us have lost. Do I think we are a top 10 team talent wise no but if we go undefeated and are in the top two of the BCS Standings then I would accept a bid in the NC game. It don't matter if you win by 1 or 50 winning is winning.
