I just got the phone call as well. LSU Rock will be deeply missed by the entire Rock community. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

He was a relatively young man; was he not?

How tragic! Condolences to his family and friends...

He was a relatively young man; was he not?

I would say he was in his late 40's-mid 50's.

I am in shock, I really don't know what to say.

It's not going to be the same at the games without him there. I wish I knew what else to say.

I am at a loss for words.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family...

R.I.P.

May God bless his family in their time of grief. My prayers are with the family.

Unbelievable...Totally unexpected.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Oh my -- I don't know what to say. Truly horrible news. Wow.

Talk about making everything else seem so trivial and meaningless.

I have to 2nd this post.

Me and LSU had our differences here on BGP but when I read the title of this thread my heart just sank. I never met him personally but knew some people in his family.

My prayers go out to his family and may he rest in peace!
