REASONS WHY DONOVAN WOULD BOLT TO KENTUCKY

1. With graduations and defections to the NBA, Guard Taurean Green

may be the only one of the top six players coming back next year.

2. $$$$. Lots of $$$$.

3. Bigger arena, better Basketball atmosphere and fan base.

4. Less likely to see an improvement in the Gators' Basketball arena

(enlarge current arena or build new one) in the near future,

 

REASONS WHY DONOVAN WON'T BOLT TO KENTUCKY

1. $$$$. Lots of $$$$.

2. Pressure to deliver championships is nowhere near the pressure put

on Kentucky's basketball program. Ask Tubby Smith.

3. In Gainesville, he's a hero. In Lexington, he'll be the next Kentucky

coach compared to Adolph Rupp. Ask any coach who has succeeded

him or John Wooden. Expectations are totally unrealistic.

 

But, Billy remains mum on the issue. If he wins another title, he and Urban Meyer can re-align the state's GNP. They can both get houses in Bill Gates' neighborhood.

If Lucas and Patterson were only coming to UK because of Tubby I guess they will be signing letters if intent to Minnesota soon!

I guess if this statement is true they will be commiting to Minnesota.

I don't think Patterson or Lucas EVER said the "only" reason they were looking at UK was Tubby Smith, they said that was a "BIG or MAJOR" part of the reason. If Donovan does take the job I could see both going to UK, if NO Donovan, I SERIOUSLY doubt Patterson will don the royal blue and white next season.

IF/When Donovan comes to UK, will someone gather up all the posts that are saying people are "crazy" & such to think such a thing & put them in their own thread. That would be nice to see.

Because they have said one of the big reasons why UK was in the top 3 was because of Tubby. Jai Lucas even commented on after he heard that Tubby left how that might change things because "HE LOVED TUBBY" So us Tubby supporters were right in saying it. However those are guys who want to also go to a program where they can win alot, and they know at Minnesota it wont have that good of a chance. So even though they love Tubby they wont go there. So people saying sarcastic stuff like well if they really liked Tubby as much as we say then they would go to Minnesota is wrong and are just trying to take another shot at Tubby for no reason..So now if we want to see them two here, Billy D. would be are only chance at getting them, because Billy D. when it come to P.P. atleast has been recruiting him as well...

I think that Billy D will at LEAST consider the offer...How many of his current team members are gonna be back next year..As easy to rebuild HERE as in FLorida
