Donovan has been too busy to sit down, and talk contract with anyone, and I just can't see any money being wired without any sort of contract being signed. Besides Barnhart would have to have any sort of agreement approved by President Todd, and the Board of Trustees. I just don't see all of that happening that fast. Board of Trustees met Friday at 12:30 to approve new salary. I don't know who's salary they approved, I just know that they met.

UK will offer Billy D a reported 30 million over 6 years.....That would double what Tubby was making, and would require Florida to pony up some serious dough.... There are no back door deals. I have heard form people that are as solid as it gets that this is the dream job for Billy D and he is interested at a very high level. I also know that there was likely a meeting between Pitino and Mitch with Billy D as the topic at hand. After what I've heard over the last 48 hours I can't imagine they don't get him...

March 25, 200719 yr I don't know about Lucas but I do think that if UK got Donovan, they would get Patterson... It would combine a coach who was trying to get him at one school with a school that really wants him... If UK hires anybody except Donovan I think they lose both...

Like I said they are getting the venue they wanted and now they will get the style of play they like.
