  1. There are 29 kids out right now and school hasn't started. Last year at this time 18 strong.
  2. Betsy Layne had a good showing Saturday. The program looks pretty good, the score on the varsity level was 4-3 but in junior varsity the score was 1-0. I think the program is really on the right track. The Bobcats next scrimmage is on Friday at Shelby Valley. Come out and support my Bobcats!!!
  3. Do BGP make predictions on districts or do they just do the summary about other teams?
  4. I am a member of Betsy Layne Bobcats, please don't take the playoffs for granted. I am at a school, where Betsy Layne High School has never made the playoffs in school history. That one year sitting out could be that one year you wanted to play in the playoffs more than ever. Just don't take anything for granted. Bobcat pride.
  5. I know they are working real hard trying to get everything going. Playoffs is a good goal, it has never happened in school history.
  6. Numbers right now look real good, they got some passing league games scheduled in the next few weeks.
  7. I think this will be a good year for the Bobcats they have a favorable schedule and they have been working hard in the offseason. 08 Burch, WV WIN Jackson County WIN Pikeville Tough South Floyd WIN Powell County Either way Jenkins WIN Beth Haven Either way Paintsville Tough Allen Central Either way Phelps WIN If the Bobcats work they can really do good.
  8. Is Todd Harris still the coach?

  12. Guys, needing some help. Who made all district?
  13. give us time, the boys from betsy layne worked hard for this one. I think the bobcats are heading in the right direction. Hard work pays off. I heard Brennan Case had around 250 yards rushing in the game, could have been more.
  14. If a player is thrown out during a Varsity game is he out for the Jv game or just the next varsity game, or both. Here is the scenairo, a player got suspended, the team has a jv game monday, but this is also during their bye week and will play another jv game next monday then play varsity game on Friday. Can someone please help me?
  15. Prestonsburg could not have scored a 100. Granted, Betsy Layne got beat, but the bobcats will rebound and be the first team to ever make the playoffs.
  16. Has anyone heard anything about the cavs?
  17. of course coach B, was not asked to step down, i meant to say that the outcome is both schools have great coaches.
  18. Either way Betsy Layne and Eastridge both got good head coaches.
  19. I will let Coach Parsons know Steamroller? I am sure he appreciates it. I think there is a bobcat Bowl the second week of the season but not sure
  20. I was wondering if you can have a passing game after the dead period? Does anyone know?
  21. i see them winning some games but a very respected 5-5 or 6-4 i think they are a good and up and coming team
  22. coach parsons, has been coaching for around five years. he was the head man for the grade school and moved up to help the high school the last few years. Young and energetic and hungry for the program to succeed.......
