Nice showing for a Betsy Layne program desperately seeking to improve their program. Matewan outscores them 5-3 in Touchdowns. Matewan (WV) is a perennial 1A playoff team in WV and returns alot of talent off a 6-4 team from last season, BL was competitive it seems.

Betsy Layne had a good showing Saturday. The program looks pretty good, the score on the varsity level was 4-3 but in junior varsity the score was 1-0.

I think the program is really on the right track. The Bobcats next scrimmage is on Friday at Shelby Valley.
