Yep i thought Ashland was going to Rupp this year i guess not. I guess Elliot is just that good in the 16th. Congratulations. Elliot rolled in this tournement good luck in Rupp.

I did want to add - Coach Biggs appears to be a class act. He had an excellent first season and got Ashland back to were they are used to being.

First ever trip to Rupp for Elliott County! Tyler Maynard leads the way--off the bench--with 22 points (six three pointers).

 

There was a Tyler Maynard who left Scott County after his Soph year. He was a great kid with a sweet J - just a touch slow to play big minutes at SC - is this the same kid? I'm very happy for him if it is.

Another note - the entire Shelby Valley team was in attendance tonight. I would say they didn't care much for what they saw.

Great Job, Elliott!!! II believe I started a thread on "how good" Elliott was this year and how fearful they will be for the next two years also. I don't think ANYONE (Rose Hill included) can handle them the next two years unless a 16th region team receives an influx of talent or some players mature quickly. I don't see Elliott losing their 16th region stranglehold for two more years after this. Enjoy your trip to Rupp, It will not be your last.

BTW, We need to send a Congrads and Shout Out to the man who never forgets Sandy Hook. Rocky Adkins. He needs to bring these kids to the Capital and have them recognize for a great team and season.
