If the rumor is correct and it is a coach who was a DC in Campbell County this year. Then it could possibly be Ed Smart who was the DC for Brossart this year. He has many years of experience as a head coach too. Which would fit what Scott has looked for in its previous hires, of hiring coaches who have had head coach experience.

Adam Heidrich calls the defense at Newport. Wiggins calls the offense.

Hi! My name is Mr. Trimnell, and I’m excited to be part of the Prince of Peace school community. I will be teaching  5th and 6th grade students. Teaching is more than just a job for me it’s a calling, and I’m passionate about helping students grow academically, personally, and spiritually.

Outside the classroom, I serve as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator for the Bellevue High School football team. I’m also continuing my own education through the University of the Cumberlands, where I’m working toward my degree in education. I believe that being a lifelong learner sets a powerful example for my students.

My wife and I are proud parents of five wonderful children Talon, Orion, Rogan, and twins Paxton and Penelope who definitely keep life interesting! Our family time is full of laughter, sports, and lots of activity, and that energy follows me into the classroom.

In our classroom, learning is hands-on, engaging, and full of discovery. We enjoy creative projects, group discussions, and learning activities that connect to the real world. I also make time to explore student interests, celebrate their hard work, and encourage positive behavior through fun class rewards and incentives. Watching students take ownership of their learning is one of the best parts of my job.

I heard this as well from a pretty relaliable source.

Trimnell is a good coach and did a great job this past season with Bellevue's defense. 

Welp... time for Christmas breaks boys just enough time before Feburary 1st! ? 

This is not an easy job, but the one thing I do know, is in my few interactions with Coach Trimnell, he is organized, detail oriented, and will put forth the effort and enthusiasm needed to try and build Scott back up into a competitive product. I think this is a really good hire for Scott and he will work his tail end off to build that program up.

There has been no official communication from Scott. Nor from anyone claiming they accepted the job. We have posters on here claiming things that no one has verified. And now it’s Christmas Break in Kenton County. Not exactly a call for a victory lap.

I don’t care. It’s not a contest, I just was sharing what I know. So, congratulations?

On this thread it was stated the a HC couldn’t formally be hired until February 1st. I see Eminence and Male with new coaches announced today. Am I missing something?

Also PRP and Western Hills, can’t leave them out. It’s either you can or cannot, correct?

I've known Kenny a little bit since he played for Cov Cath in the early '70s and always thought he was a terrific person. I'm so pleased he got into teaching, coaching, and administration as it seemed like a great path for him.

Don't know much about the specifics of his time at Taylor Mill, but I know he loved working with kids. I hope the Scott community and Ken were a good fit and a success for all concerned.

Ken is a great dude, and the last few years for him at Scott they experienced a lot of success across several sports.
