  • I am Coach Chard, and I will take the responsibility for that, however I can assure you my special teams coach got lit up because of that.

At this juncture who really cares how old a kid is.  This has gone on for years and is no different now.  Ages had zero to do with the game result last night, period end of story.

  • Dixie 14 Ryle 7   Great game, very physical battle.

Highlands freshmen team has been pretty dominant the past two seasons and this one thus far, if memory serves me correct. To have an 8th grader play QB in a freshman game isn't unheard of, but how often does it happen at a school like Highlands? Good luck to whoever has to play them.

Highlands 8th grade QB could start for most of the Freshman teams in NKY. Kid is a Baller.

Is there an easy way to see the scores of each of the games these teams have played?

I have been following football a loooooong time. I can't think of another freshman team in N. Ky. better than this year’s Highlands team.

They could beat some varsity teams.

Click on the link below. Find the school you're looking for in the Arbiter directory and click.

The school's teams will appear (show all teams is an option). Choose Varsity/JV/Frosh.

The team's entered schedule and game results are available there.

Welcome to BGP @Legacy7.

I’d make a case for Highlands Freshman team 2 years ago. They lost the opener that year against Cov Cath but beat them by about 40 in championship. The first game was played on a Saturday following the JV game do to the heat.  Highlands five best Freshman played that whole JV game then continued to play the Freshman game and were just out of gas. Lorenzen , Harris, Williams, Jacob’s and Feldbrougge were unstoppable. This years team is very special though and goodness they are big and strong .

You skipped a year! Last years team was the best of the 3 we’re referring to IMO. I’ll even take it one step further - last years freshman football team went undefeated and so did their basketball team (obviously several kids played both sports). That’s seriously impressive. What a group of classes regardless!

They had one loss to Moeller last year in Freshman Football . But yes, impressive…
