Word from Sherrin Avenue is that the Rocks have hired former NFL and Louisville Cardinal Breno Giacomini to help coach offensive line. Giacomini is a longtime NFL veteran with a Super Bowl ring from t

2027 class picking up offers

Sebastian Blue- EKU

LA Evans- Louisville/UK/EKU

Zane Johnson- Southern Miss/EKU

PRP adding Trinity doesn't seem like a good idea for PRP's kids.

I am guessing the options were very limited.

For Trinity, no doubt, for PRP, not so sure.

I give credit to PRP for stepping up. I wish more in-state pretenders would. This might be our most brutal scedule yet.  Go Rocks!!!!

Southern Miss in town & offering a lot of Trinity & CAL kids this week.  I think it was 4 from each school that received offers from them.

Surprised to see PRP.

I was told PRP reached out to Trinity to start this series. Bryan Station decided to pursue playing in season opening "Bowl" games and discontinue playing the Rocks.

Absolutely love the manner in which Trinity schedules. Even though PRP is a step down from Bryan Station (at least under Coach H), the Rocks always take on strong programs, well coached teams, diverse styles of opponents and impressive fan followings. That approach also provides some really good competition for the Trinity freshman and JV squads. And, by the time the KHSAA playoffs roll around they have a battle tested group of players and coaches.

I always enjoy looking ahead. Looks like District 5 (Trinity, Ballard, Eastern, and Oldham County) will play District 6 (Ryle, Great Crossing, Simon Kenton, and Campbell County) in the first two rounds in 2025. These districts will represent Region 3 (eastern half of Kentucky). This sets up possible games between Douglass, Trinity, Great Crossing, and Ryle in round three. Male, Manual. or St. Xavier may be opponent in fourth round. RPI will dictate who and where after first two rounds. Beginning of the next campaign is less than six months away!

For those interested in Spring Practice:

From KHSAA: Each football school may conduct ten (10) spring practice periods of not more than two (2) hours in length and not more than one practice per day over ten (10) days during three consecutive calendar weeks, which shall be chosen by the school

Trinity submitted April 7 through April 25 as their choice this spring.

While I appreciate PRPs zeal to "want to", sometimes you shouldn't.  I don't blame Trinty for taking the game.  No one is on the wait list for Trinity.  But this is a first quarter running clock waiting to happen.  Just don't see the benefit for either team other than filling out the schedule.

Only benefit is Trinity back ups getting reps.

As I understand, there are not too many Kentucky programs reaching out to Trinity. In the recent past, Trinity has offered to pay for visiting teams transportation and a meal while they visit St. Matthews.
