I believe that is a free stream.

It has been free but just because it is listed doesn't mean it is going to happen.  We really need someone in the know from Beechwood to tell us for sure.

  • I guess I will wade into this, but it really needs its own thread. There is too much that needs to be said, but I will be brief.  First, the generation of fans that started this ride 50 or so yea

Beechwood has tried that over night travel and it was a disaster. What led to the LCA domination is LCA is better than Mayfield.

I know many going to think me crazy, but I think Beechwood matches up more favorably against #1  OC.  Elite Tiger speed in secondary will win more than they won’t against Atwell.  OC rushing game maybe good, but not great.  Whereas, LCA ground game is state’s best in 2A against Tigers’ questionable rushing D. BW elite secondary might be doing a lot more tackling than pass defending.  Go Tigers.

Aren't there a lot of questions this year about Beechwood's rushing defense?  That has me thinking LCA has to be a bit of a favorite here.

The stars aligned for this matchup! I think this is one of the best semi final matchups across the state! Clay Hayden is unbelievable and definitely a different kind of kid! When I saw him throw the ball after leaving his feet to complete the pass and still absorb the hit I knew he was different!

This LCA team is different from most! Their run game has improved getting away from a finesse offense and style of play and being more run dominant!

Would love to see a dog fight here til the end with a sprinkle of overtime!

This one has me scratching my head but I think Coach Volker and the boys want to get back to Kroger field! I’ll take beechwood in a last second thriller!

No one around the state really knows what Beechwood can do,  they played Cov Cath back in September down without a few major forces on both sides of the ball, those guys are back now!

Beechwood needs to worry about Beechwood and they’ll come out okay and if they don’t, then they’ll find themselves watching two other teams a week later fighting it out at Kroger Field playing for a state championship.

That was the exact word I used to someone after the Mayfield game last night. The last 2 years when LCA has come over to War Memorial they have seemed to be a “finesse” type of offense with Boley running it. I thought LCA came in with a different mindset and attitude this year. They were a smack you in the mouth type team this is what we are doing try and stop it(we couldn’t). I think the Howard kid runs that offense precisely. I haven’t seen enough of Beechwood to know for certain, but after seeing LCA in person I’m picking LCA to keep playing smashmouth playoff football and come away victorious. 42-31.

This game is all about speed vs power! I know LCA is big up front but the Tigers aren’t small though. I know that LCA doesn’t have the speed Beechwood does! I think Beechwood has the best offense in 2a with all of their weapons they have. I’m sure the Tigers will hate a good game plan for this game.

LCA is gonna score and probably a lot of points. I think they will have their will running the ball on the Beechwood. I think Beechwood will get there’s too but in the end consistent running gets it done. 42-35 LCA.

You might be right but Beechwood’s running isn’t bad either! They  can score from anywhere! I can’t wait for this game! Fort Mitchell will be rocking on Friday Night!

I meant running game!

Just read in the Herald, LCA cheated on the long Oregon Trail (aka Western Ky Parkway) to War Memorial.  Actually broke the Coach ride into two days…how dare?  They actually Thursday, stopped in Bowling Green for short practice, great meal and overnight stay.  Then on to a well rested, well prepared dismantling of Mayfield.  Coach said after two consecutive failures, they needed a completely different approach.  How dare him?…..well done Coach.

That helps explain the strong start.
