After watching LCA a few times Beechwood has the advantage in speed and weapons! Pick your poison on who to cover! LCA is big upfront there is no doubt about that but Beechwood isn’t small either! LCA has the advantage up front! If this game If this game was played on grass then I would  say LCA wins but this game isn’t being played on grass!

Beechwood has tried that over night travel and it was a disaster. What led to the LCA domination is LCA is better than Mayfield.

I just had someone "semi-official" from Beechwood reach out to me and tell me this is a 730pm start and this thread and the scoreboard are wrong.

730pm is the correct start time, the scoreboard needs to be updated. 

Every time I talk to my friends in the Beechwood football camp I hear about how Coach Volker is trying to run a college defense with high schoolers playing for him and how that just isn't going to work in the long run. If everything they keep saying is true, I think the long run for this season comes to an end for Beechwood on Friday night.

I haven't kept up with much football around Lexington for the last few years, but I checked the scoreboard on the KHSAA's website and the Lexington Christian defense has 8 forced fumbles and 19 picks. Their quarterback has thrown 2 picks on 114 attempts. Beechwood's defense has 3 forced fumbles and 15 picks, and their quarterback has thrown 5 picks on 228 attempts. I have a feeling that there's potential here for a turnover to be a big turning point in the outcome of the game.

With the game being played at Beechwood I would certainly say the Tigers have more than a chance in the game, but I think it's more than likely that Lexington Christian gets the win. My best guess is that the final score has both teams in the high twenties or low thirties with the game decided by one score for the winners.

After watching LCA and Mayfield game several more times on YouTube I've switched from BW to LCA and even possibly winning state..Red Helmet and all of Mayfield had stats of LCA running the ball 70 percent and to the RIGHT a majority of the time and we still couldn't stop it, not counting all the penalties they had and still won in dominate fashion...even if BW knows this stat can they stop it and don't get caught up like I think we did that they can't pass the ball...a solid running game, good line play and  defense usually can contol the speed of another team..I know we're not as fast as BW but they made us look slow...I like number 10 at QB and how they transformed their game to his strength..I can see them continuing this next year and putting number 7 at QB as he played that in Middle school before...

Have you seen Owensboro Catholic play? Can LCA or Beechwood run on Catholic? 

Yeah, you would know that since he played at Murray.
