I'll watch regardless, I always have. It's just hard to hope for too much right now. 

Watching this Reds Mets game today, the robo ump cannot get here fast enough. What I am looking forward to with the robo ump challenge, is to see if the live umps get better at calling balls and strikes. I think the robo ump will get these umps to fix their natural biases and make them reassess how they set up and call strikes. I believe after a couple years of the robo ump, the challenges will decrease.

I wish they just go 100% Robo-Ump on balls and strikes. Each side just getting 2 challenges a game doesn't feel like it's even worth doing.

 Didn't they do more than two challenges in the All Star game? Two challenges is not nearly enough.

There were 4 from what I can find. However upon further review, it looks like there could be more than 4 in the games. Each team gets 2 per game but if a challenge is correct, they retain that challenge. Spring training games averaged just over 4.3 per game, with calls being overturned about 52% of the time.

I guess I should have researched it better before commenting before. ?

If I had more time off work I would be at this game. It’s as much about the pregame and overall atmosphere as it is the actual matchup. A baseball game in a 200,000 seat coliseum? Sign me up. I will most certainly be watching.

The Reds today acquired Ke'Bryan Hayes in a trade with the Pirates. The Reds sent left-handed reliever Taylor Rogers and shortstop prospect Sammy Stafura.

Shohei was pitching.  But he left in the third with an injury, although he did continue as the DH.
