I saw another stat that surprised me he is leading the league in strikeouts but what surprised me is he is 2nd in the league in errors.

Being someone who watches every night, neither surprised me. I've said since he came up that he isn't a shortstop. The longer they run him out there the longer they delay his true potential and he isn't here forever, so change it yesterday. 

Matt McLain is the SS on the Reds today, it may be Arroyo in 2 years.

The best part was sweeping the heavily favored A's in 4 straight games.

It shouldn't be too big of a surprise.  Last season he led the league in: strikeouts, errors, and caught stealing.  He also led the league in stolen bases. This season he's leading the league in errors, he's 2nd in strikeouts, and 7th in caught stealing (3 behind the leader), and he's 4th in stolen bases.  His talent is electric.  But his game has some rough spots.    

Reports are reporting that the Reds have sent Alexis Diaz to the Los Angeles Dodgers for minor league reliever Mike Villani a 13th round pick from last summer's draft.

The Dodgers pitching injuries are almost hard to fathom.  7 relievers and multiple starters on the IL.

 

 

Does Villani have any potential?  If the Dodgers can "fix" A. Diaz, it seems like the Reds got the raw end of this deal.
