Reds win in 11!

Judging from the celebration I think the Reds just won the World Series.

It is a good night to be a Reds fan! Now let's go out and sweep the mighty Yankees tomorrow night! That game is on MLB Network.

I have FanDuel so I assume it is on there again just like tonight.  I watched FanDuel, not Fox.

Yea I don't have it I hope MLB Network doesn't black it out. They do that sometimes.

I was surprised by the large Yankee fan base there last night.  They thought they had the game won after scoring in the 11th.  It was so nice to see the Reds shut them up in the bottom half.

But Bonds numbers were crazy much later in his career and we all know why. So when is Elly getting on the sauce?

He'll have to wait for Noelvi Marte to come back from the IL to have a source.

Got to spend time with Elly yesterday at an event. Very engaging guy. I love what he is doing in the community. Working hard on his English and speaking it in public. Two community events yesterday in the heat, one of which was a kids baseball camp. Makes me want to root for him even more.

Based on what I've seen of him on the field, that's not surprising. But it's great to hear he is that same way off the field as well. Easy guy to cheer for.

Nick Martinez. No hitter thru 8.

Also in his first 3 at bats Spencer Steer hit 3 homeruns.

A walk and a pinch hit double spoils the no-hitter with none out in the top of the 9th.

I don't really believe in jinxes, but I wish Sadak and Larkin would have kept their mouths shut in the 9th inning.  They basically prophesied what was going to happen.  It was annoying.

I was out watching the game and the ending was so anticlimactic.

Great effort by Martinez.

The more I think about this....the more I appreciate Nick Martinez.
After his short outing last Thursday, he told Tito he would be available to help the pen over the weekend. He tossed 2.0 scoreless innings Saturday vs the Cardinals.
When Chase Burns was called up, and pushed Martinez's next start back one day, he said he could pitch out of the pen and Brady Singer could stay on normal schedule for his next start.
Martinez tossed a scoreless inning from the pen on Monday.
Last night, he took a no-hitter to the 9th.
Started last Thursday: 2.2 IN, 7 R
Bullpen Saturday: 2.0, 0 R
Bullpen Monday: 1.0, 0 R
Started Friday: No-hitter to the 9th.
