Just another game where changing defenses up from time to time would have made a difference!! No need to think this would happen or will ever happen with Cal!!

I like the shot by Dilly being at 12 seconds.  Down 1, if you miss you can foul quick and still give yourself another chance.

Tied, down by 2 or 3, you go for the last shot.  Down 1 is different IMO.

Definitely thought the whistle got a little tight in the second half. Three straight fouls on Reeves there but they never showed a replay; I assumed it was some type of hold the way you described it. Then the announcer said Reeves had four fouls, which was incorrect. This all happened during the Caitlin Clark diatribe so I forgive them for choosing to discuss the more important issues.

Yeah, I agree with you. I'm thinking you may have misread my post.

I didn't say he had a bad turnover game, just that he usually has a real bad turnover or two a game. Just so happens, this one was late when it really mattered.

Is there ever a loss where you think we just got out played and its mostly on the players? Genuinely curious because if this one doesn't qualify as that, I'm guessing none ever will.

A fade away from the three by Dillinghamwith a guy in his face wasn't a good shot, but credit him for hitting it. But then he doesn't block his man out and he tips in the game winner. Fundamentals.

Down 1 with 20 seconds...get the ball to your best scorer and he takes the best shot when he can get it.  Exactly what he did.  If he misses we can still rebound or foul.  JMO.

Agree. Guess what I heard on a morning sports talk show? They played a clip from that women's basketball conversation during the game. I think ESPN had an agenda to generate talking points for other broadcasts.

Happens all the time, my point is when you’re up 15 and a team cuts into your lead drastically, you change something? Not very hard to figure but Cal never, never, ever changes things up, just not a good situational coach? Period?
