Hilltopper2005
I would like to see Jimmy come back, but I doubt that Jerry Jones would ever admit what a mistake he made by letting Jimmy go to start with. I think Cowher would be good for Dallas and just add more fule to the Cowboys/Steelers rivalry.
C-A-T-S
Bill Cowher going to Dallas would be a slap in the face to the Pittsburgh organization...

LOL Gibbs only wishes he was in the same class of coaches as Jimmy Johnson.

LOL Gibbs only wishes he was in the same class of coaches as Jimmy Johnson. I think he was referring to the fact that Gibbs took the Redskins to the SuperBowl, took some time off before returning to try to straighten out the organization. But I agree that Jimmy Johnson is a better coach.
HOMELESS CAMEL
I'm very thankful that because the Bears won, no one is supposed to be allowed to talk to Rivera for another two weeks. I would hope the Dallas job is filled by then. The team has enough talent there, but his name has been mentioned all year as team obliterator and that's what he will do again if comes back to the team next year. NEERFAN
I bet Jones wished Payton were still around. The propspects don't look bright right now for the Boys.

stick1
Titans: Under no circumstances can Cowboys contact Fisher http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9949483 I heard that today. Smart to keep him in Nashville but I just don't have much for their management the way they have handeled him and McNair!
CatchMeIfYouCan
Wade Phillips - The Chargers defensive coordinator is coming off a great season and is rumored to be on Jerry Jones' radar. Phillips has a 48-39 record as a head coach. Bill Cowher - Yes, Cowher said he was going to take at least a year off after he resigned from the Steelers job, but if Cowher and Jones want to make this happen, it would be far from impossible. Houston Nutt - The Cowboys have reportedly been interested in hiring the Arkansas coach in some capacity and now he has to be considered a candidate for the head-coaching job. Charlie Weis - If Jones is going to look at college candidates, Weis is the one with the most impressive NFL experience. The Notre Dame coach was brilliant as a coordinator for the Pats, and even though he says he's happy, the pull of a team like the Cowboys might sway him. Bob Stoops - Jerry Jones turned toward Oklahoma when he hiring former Sooners coach Barry Switzer. The Cowboys have been rumored to be interested in Stoops, who won a national title at OU. Norv Turner - Turner was a big part of the glory days in Big D as offensive coordinator under Jimmie Johnson in the early 1990s. Turner had little success as head coach in Washington and Oakland, but as offensive coordinator for the 49ers this season he made Frank Gore look like Emmitt Smith Tony Sparano - The Cowboys offensive coordinator is rumored to be a favorite of Jerry Jones. The 45-year-old assistant is reminiscint of Sean Payton, who left Dallas to coach the Saints. Pete Carroll - The USC coach hasn't nibbled at any other team's overtures, but this is Dallas, so maybe Jerry Jones has a chance to lure Carroll back to the NFL. Ron Rivera - The Bears defensive coordinator has been passed over for other vacancies this offseason, but now that the Bears are in the Super Bowl, his credentials have skyrocketed. Mike Singletary - The former Bears great and current 49ers assistant has reportedly been very impressive in interviews throughout the league and would be a great influence on the Cowboys' talented corps of young defensive players.
