Beechwood has an OUTSTANDING team that were they playing anyone besides my alma mater, I would have been cheering for them. Classy bunch. I'm glad to follow them to Lexington to try to break the curse there... Mayfield has never won there. Oh, I'm on board with Red Helmet Video, too. They are bringing 80's - 90's wrestlers to high school football commentary! Love it!

IMO BW made a massive mistake just not taking it to overtime after a huge fumble from Mayfield. Mayfield makes you pay for mistakes so bad especially at home. This game reminded me of the ending of the Iowa and Nebraska game today.

I’ve seen so many high school coaches get ultra aggressive right at the end of the half or end of the game when things are going pretty good. Then a massive turnover happens that cost them a game or tons of momentum. The pros do it on tv with unbelievably talented QB’s and kickers that can hit from 50. In high school when you have 80 yards to go and less than a minute, just take it OT. BW had the momentum.

I don’t want to go back and forth cause it was a great game for both sides and we did eventually get the win. But the ref who called the sideline hold was 4 feet from me. There was a ref 10 inches from the so called hold that didn’t move a muscle. And I’m trying to get the video of the goal line cross at the moment. 

Starks had a big fumble late & then Hayden threw a pick shortly after, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching those two kids play.

Agree, share the video.  Would love to see it.  To me, watching it on the Red Helmet Video, it did look like a holding on the outside on the 4th qtr TD run.  Couldn’t tell on the other one that got called back.  
 

Those guys announcing are great. Appreciate them doing that for all of us who couldn’t get there.  Good luck to Mayfield next week!  Our Tigers fought hard and will be back.  

I not a coach but dang you get after the QB on 1 and 2 down then drop into coverage and get picked apart on 3 down all night.  I will say it did work once at the end of the game.   Mayfield got way too many penalties or this would have been not as close. They got to clean that up for sure!!

I guess I was wrong about the score in this one. However, I wasn’t expecting a blocked fg and 3 touchdowns to be called back for holding. I couldn’t figure out why we had so much trouble with the halfback on the wheel route. I saw that in all the videos I watched. Any how, the Tigers were impressive in the passing game. They also were not super arrogant and taunting like we saw in last weeks game.

Congrats Mayfield it was one hell of a game! Good luck next week! The Tigers left everything on the field congrats on a great season! 

I went and watched the replay of the holding call that brought back the touchdown with 8 minutes to go.

#32 for Mayfield was blocking a Tiger as JuJu ran by, when the player turned towards JuJu #32 pushed the Tiger from the back. 

From what I just witnessed UK got the wrong QB commitment but it is UK so that says a little. Beechwood QB way better than LCA!!!
