Everyone except Mike Wolfe! I think it would be financially hard for Mike to leave Ryle right now due to the increase in family and wife not working. CCH can not afford him no matter how much Mr Carlisle comes up with, it's called retirement in the public schools vs private schools.

 

If he does not get the job, it is not because he does not want the job, but rather somebody else is offered it.

I don't know if this has been posted, but on Thursday, 6 candidates were interviewed. They have narrowed it down to 3 and they will announce the final candidated at the SportsFest on the 15th of February.

I was told she was home w/the twins, so, I stand to be corrected. Maybe Mr Carlisle has enough extra money to pay Mike Wolfe to give up the yrs in the public school and start again at the private schools.

Who is this Carlisle fella. Is he an Alum or something. I keep seeing his name brought up for some reason. Are you saying that he might be able to pitch in some extra funds to help hire a coach. And why? I guess whatever it takes. How old is the Wolf guy.

Gee Tdyballgame, I think I know whom this Carlisle fella is, but I think some Covcath alum might not be aware that he is not a Covcath grad, but rather a grad of some other NKY catholic school and that he could give a darn about the coach at Covcath. Not for sure but I'm pretty sure that this Carlisle fella has given money in some shape or form to many schools in the NKY area. He is very generous, but not to the point that he actually even follows or cares who the coach of the Colonels will be. Just a hunch though, I could be wrong. I think If Newcath were to ever want a football field, they could get into his pockets:thumb:

No, not at all. If I am wrong I am not ashamed to admit it. Nobody has yet to say who has been interviewed and who has not. The CCH faithful have to keep this all a big secret for some reason. IMO, Wolfe may not have even applied again after they turned him away last time for a Buckeye!

 

I am sure Mike's heart is w/CCH but his main concern right now is his family!

Lets give we we some credit for accurately predicting that this decision would be hush hush. Looks like we will not know until 2.15 at the Sportsfest.
