Did I really see an advertisement for a Head football coach opening at CCH in the "Odd and Ends" in the classified section in The Post on Friday? Are they doing this as a formality or do they really need to be looking in the classifieds for a Head coach of any sport. What's up with that?

I saw the same thing, right next the 9 old girls soccer tryouts. I would think this type of job doesn't need a formality ad posted in the local newspapers. Or is this standard procedure!!!!!

I think it DOES need to be in the papers. Where else are you going to find the open position? Not everyone reads these message boards.

Every coach in KY reads the openings on the KHSAA website or their coaches association website. Honestly, if you're half of a football coach the last place you should read about a job is in the classifieds the last day applications were being accepted.
