I'm not assuming his family couldn't get him to camps without Boyle, I'm making that statement based off the pictures posted by his coaches and himself on social media. A UK offer to an in state kid doesn't equal Ole Miss or Michigan.

An in state kid that runs a 4.3-4.4 laser does. We're not talking about a freshman that Marrow is doing a favor

  • I applaud the kid and his family for doing what they felt was best and it seems their chance is paying off with the amount of attention he is gathering... Now for Boyle fans... EARMUFFS.

  • Being at Boyle has definitely showcased his talents. Then the off season workouts are second to none. Being in the presence of a program like Boyle does way more for these kids than you might think. A

  • He has earned his offers at camps not because he plays for Boyle Co...

We all know when a SEC offer comes (UK) others will follow, it's a domino effect...I don't know the young man or his family personally but I'm not going to assume they couldn't get him to camps without Boyle Co. I think most families see it as an investment. The family pays the 20-50 dollar camp fees in hopes their son gets a full ride scholarship that can change his life forever

If his family has the wherewithal to move him from Garrard County to Boyle County, they should be able to get him to camps.

Can and does. There are other kids that needed the ride to some camps in the area. Their family (families) paid for the camp just didn’t have a way to get the kid there. The coaches step in and make a field trip out of it and take a few kids to a spotlight camp and get to network with some college coaches and see the facilities as well. Win win for everyone.

Big time athlete....will look good in UK blue!

That's one thing I love about haddix and the Boyle County staff they are always advertising their kids, from taking them to camps and showing them off, to the countless social media posts Haddix makes about his guys, only a select few coaches do that, and those coaches and teams win.

If Quisenberry played at Boo Hoo Heights in 1A, he would have 15+ D1 offers. When you have the talent, D1 will find you.

Correct.

Tavi got all these offers, not his coaches at BC. I love hearing people say that though, it’s comical. They would have built a statue of him at GC ?

He’s an A+ kid, A+ student and a generational talent. I can promise you there is not a more respectable player in the country when it comes to his attitude, demeanor and work ethic.

He could play at the open hay field behind Crab Orchard elementary, and these D1 coaches would take a private jet and land in Amish country to see him.

BC wants the credit, though. ?

He's a phenomenal kid, you can't fault his family for decisions that were made; but with all that said, Boyle didn't create this player. This player was created through another county, camps he attended, and a work ethic which has always been through the roof. Boyle just has the luxury of giving him the big stage. Much like they're doing with several other of their big names who arrived under similar circumstances.

Being at Boyle has definitely showcased his talents. Then the off season workouts are second to none. Being in the presence of a program like Boyle does way more for these kids than you might think. As well as give them an opportunity to win. I applaud this family for making the decision for him. I am a fan of this young man. He is awesome to watch!

I think his family had the academics that Boyle offers in mind when they decided to transfer. Danville must offer a better academic program for girls since his sister went to Danville.

Or better girls basketball program with Coach Mason...

Going out on a limb here without knowing anything about the Garrard school system but it is possible the move was absolutely factored by academics. Montavin is a true 2024 and reclassified down to the 2025 class so it’s possible his academics weren’t up to par.

Kid has had a 4.0 all through High School.

Garrard's School System.....is something.

Lots of families live in Garrard and go outside for education without athletics being a factor at all.

Knowing the situation, not speaking even slightly under any assumption, athletics were at the forefront of the decision. Not arguing with anyone, just setting the record straight!
