Brian Brohm to Return For Senior Season

Featured Replies

He should have left with an undefeated record against his in-state rival.

And what makes you think he still won't leave undefeated against his in-state rival? That is still a possibility.

Oh, didn't you hear? Since Michael Bush and Petrino left, the Cats have locked up the win for next year....:sssh:

Congrats to Brohm, hopefully it turns out to be the best decision.

He has been injury prone, still has the redshirt as an option if he were to get hurt.

Kragthorpe picked up his biggest recruit with keeping Brohm.

Let's see how Charlie Stubbs uses him.

I'd call it a probability.:sssh:

Good news for the Cards...bad news for us Cat fans and our hopes for the game this fall...I'm glad he chose to return though.

I am still trying to figure out the comment about U of L's program falling apart in an earlier post. Bush, with a good year, would be gone anyway. Brohm, every Card fan knew, was a possibility to leave. U of L has plenty of depth on both sides of the ball. They might not go 12-1 but still are good enough to win several games. Jurich has said it is hard for U of L to schedule ranked teams out of the conference because those programs now know U of L is a threat to beat them and that would hurt their chances in the BCS picture. For Saban to have offered Jeff Brohm the offensive coordinators job says something for him. Coach Krag did good by keeping him. U of L should be exciting to watch again on offense. With most of the offense back and some new guys coming in the Cards should be able to put points on the board.

I think that this is great, but the better get was getting his brother Jeff to come back in the long run. Hunter could have lead the team's o fine, but a good coach is hard to lose.

Great news for UL and I hope it turns out to be the best decision for BB.

I agree. It sucks for UK when playing UL, but UK's ultimate focus should be on improving in the SEC and trying to improve on last season.

Dont know if this has been brought up prior to this, but wasn't UK the only team to play 3 BCS bowl teams in LSU, UL and UF?

For them to be a team NOT to make a BCS game, probably so...

Notre Dame - LSU, Michigan, USC

LSU - Notre Dame and Florida

Ohio State - Michigan and Florida

Florida - LSU and tOSU

Boise State - OU

OU - Boise State

Wake - UL

UL - Wake

USC - Michigan and ND

Michiagn - ND and USC

Texas played tO$U and OU

Texas played tO$U and OU

There are a lot of teams that played two BCS teams... I was just naming those within the BCS.

I am guessing UK is the only team to play three and not make the BCS.

UC should have played three, but they gave ND the final BCS spot... :walk:

Very risky but his choice. Will make for a long season for his family holding their breath everytime he drops back, but I hope he has a good injury free season. Maybe he just likes college. Can't blame him for that if thats the case.

He should have left with an undefeated record against his in-state rival.

I think that he will.
