Brian Brohm to Return For Senior Season

Featured Replies

As 02Ram54 said, as long as he doesn't hire an agent, he can back out. However, he'd still have to get the medical redshirt, which I don't know how that would work in this type of situation.

Michael signed with an agent and is in Arizona.

Make that 0 for 12.

Not really that big of a deal when the 10 BCS teams only combined for thirteen (13) total losses.

Which I think is for the best.

Well, that solves that. Thanks for the info. :thumb:

Uh oh...Everybody still feeling so good about the UK/UL game next year??

Glad Brian is coming back...This means we'll have virtually the same offense we did this past year, which is in no way disappointing...GO CARDS!!! :ylsuper:

YEP...UK will give em all they want...Won't have that big a bearing on the final outcome...I think Brohm made a good decision to come back...He should have better #s next year and as long as he avoids the injury bug, should go higher than was expected to this year...I guess the only UL person who's not happy about this is backup QB Hunter Cantwell...I really like his game and think he's more than capable of putting up big #s if given the chance, but, it doesn't appear he'll get that opportunity...

Hunter will start for Louisville in two years.

He knew what he was looking at, he walked on the year Brohm was signed.

I was thinking he was going to be a Sr nx year...Did he redshirt a year?

Yes.

he will have one year to POSSIBLY start...if he doesn't U of L will have plenty to be happy with a potential four year starting Matt Simms.

I'd be somewhat impressed if they were close losses. But look at UK for example, they were out scored 134-35. ND got more respect (from me at least) last year for a similar "feat" because they played USC down to the wire. Auburn beat two BCS teams and didn't make the BCS, anyone else do that?

Im glad Brohm decided to stay. I expect him to have huge 2007 seasom

Looks like I'll be getting those season tickets after all.

I admire Brian that much more for staying. He and his teammates have to know what the fans expect out of them for next year, and he's got the heart to come back and surely give it his all.

Does anyone know how big of a disability insurance policy Brohm was able to get? Just curious.

I heard he definately wasn't coming to UL....This came straight from his mouth....What has changed?
