January 15, 200719 yr I hope this is the right decision for Brian. I have nightmares of the Matt Leinart 30 million dollar loss.
January 15, 200719 yr With Brohm staying, do you think Bush might have a change of heart? Can he back out of the draft?
January 15, 200719 yr If he hadn't hired an agent, he could withdraw by the 19th. But I'm under the impression that he's signed with an agent. I also don't believe he's submitted any paperwork for the medical redshirt, and that deadline is today.
January 15, 200719 yr I am happy to see that Brian is staying. This is good news for Lville. I am one of those people that hates to see kids leave early. He is a very Smart young man.:ylsuper:
January 15, 200719 yr Uh oh...Everybody still feeling so good about the UK/UL game next year??   Glad Brian is coming back...This means we'll have virtually the same offense we did this past year, which is in no way disappointing...GO CARDS!!! :ylsuper:
January 15, 200719 yr Can he back out of the draft? As 02Ram54 said, as long as he doesn't hire an agent, he can back out. However, he'd still have to get the medical redshirt, which I don't know how that would work in this type of situation.

I have a feeling Kragthorpe's traditional offense will go on hold until the Heisman hopeful is officially on the draft board.. which is of course what he should do. Awesome news for UL and for the state of football in Kentucky.
January 15, 200719 yr You guys know how much I love being right about this one? Me too!!:dancingpa   :dancingpa
January 15, 200719 yr Great news for the Cards! Bad news for the Cats. News has little impact on Cats. They need to continue to focus on building their program and not worry about Louisvilles. It does not matter if Louisville has Brohm or not the will still be at least two teams on the Cats schedule better than the Ville. No need to worry about the Ville when you have the big boys like LSU and Florida coming your way.

It sucks for UK when playing UL, but UK's ultimate focus should be on improving in the SEC and trying to improve on last season.
