Yes, the media does like him for obvious reasons, he also has deserved to be in the discussion because of the great job he has done with his team.

It's a tribute to NIL and the portal.

  • Skip gets on my nerves but this is a good one for this thread.

  • Skip is THIRSTY for relevance. His two most recent co-workers (SAS and Uncle Shay) are absolutely thriving, and Skip is an afterthought.  Assuming you really believe in Deion's ability to recruit

Like him or not, he’s done a fantastic job, all teams have access to NIL and the portal.

True.

Things have definitely changed in Boulder since early on in the season. Never thought I’d say it before but Colorado very well may win the Big XII.

From ESPN on Facebook.

Breaking: Five-star QB Julian Lewis, the No. 2 recruit in the 2025 ESPN 300, committed to Colorado Buffaloes Football, he announced to Pat McAfee Show.

I was thinking the same thing. ?

This is what Deion does, top players flock to him, think he stays right where he is for now.

$$$$$$$$$$

Can’t drop a game at KU, especially in convincing fashion. I only caught the last quarter and a half… any more insight? I did see the Shadeur shove of an official on social media. Not a good look.

Take care of business next week against a weak OKST team and they’ll get a share of the Big 16 title. No clue how the tiebreakers work. Kind of bizarre how it’s worked out. CU will have only beaten the lower tier teams of the conference and have avoided the “upper” tier (aside from KSU, which they lost).

At the beginning of the season, KU was one of the teams that was picked to win the Big XII; however, early season injuries hurt this team, and now that everyone is healthy, this is the KU team that the conference coaches picked to win the Big XII, I'm not surprised at all by what they have done.

That's a fair point; but, this is still Kansas. Not Ohio State. You have to close that deal or at least make it a game if you are that team.

One funny thing I read about the game, the family of the KU punter flew in from Australia to see him play. The problem is, KU never punted the ball ?

Yes, this Kansas team healthy is a very good football team, and why couldn’t they not be Oregon, Texas, Ga. or Alabama, why OhioSt?

Be or Beat? Well, no one has beat Oregon, Ohio St, looks like they will get a chance at redemption against Oregon, Texas, GA, Bama, well all of those have beat each other. Bama, beat GA, GA beat Texas, and Bama lost to an average OK team. I still believe, Bama made the wrong hire in Deboer.

All the cards except one have fallen in place except one for Colorado to play for a shot at the CFP. Buffs just need BYU to lose tonight and they'll be playing next week to get in the playoffs.
