Nice win, was it?

I have nothing but respect for the Bison, but shouldn't a team that thinks so highly of themselves beat a FCS school easily?

NDST not the typical FCS team, could easily compete with the majority of programs in the nation.

  • Skip gets on my nerves but this is a good one for this thread.

  • Skip is THIRSTY for relevance. His two most recent co-workers (SAS and Uncle Shay) are absolutely thriving, and Skip is an afterthought.  Assuming you really believe in Deion's ability to recruit

Let’s be 100 here. The reason NDSU nearly stole this game was because they were the superior coached team. And it wasn’t close. They gave NDSU points early on by going for it deep in their own territory. End of the game when they basically could have killed the clock they throw it on first down saving about 40 seconds. Also got bailed out on what could have been another targeting penalty on the last drive… that shows a lack of discipline which starts up top.

Things happen during the course of any game that either makes a coach look bad or good, not sure the coaches had anything to do with the outcome here.

Hmmm, interesting comment. The coaches didn't have anything to do with the outcome?

They absolutely can, but Sanders thinks this Colorado team is headed to the playoffs. No top 12 team should struggle with an FCS school.

Coaches put the plan together, players must perform in order for plan to succeed.

Lots of season remaining, let’s see how it plays out.

Nebraska is going to be out for blood to avenge last year's loss and they have a QB this year.  The night game between the two teams is probably my "must see" game of week 2.

It's going to take winning the conference or at least 10 or 11 wins to get in for Colorado. They might get to 7 wins but I'd be shocked if they get more than that, looking at the schedule.

Coaches call every play in the game. Yes the players have to execute but coaches absolutely have an impact on the outcome.

I agree 100%. The mistake was the pass play on first down when NDSU had only one timeout left.

My take. If Deion ditches the beard he will become more likeable and the team will perform better.

Read on Barstool that Deion has stopped the practice of playing the fight song after Colorado scores a TD pass, in favor of Shedeur's rap song "Perfect Timing."

So let’s all bust on Deion for promoting his son!! Trade places with Deion and wouldn’t you promote your own son? Don’t think hating on this guy is the right direction to go for promotion of his own son, can’t understand why so many are hating on him, just one guys opinion.

I'm not hating, just reporting. Colorado turned the keys over to Prime and this is part of the package. Fine by me.

The only thing I'm "hating" on with Deion is coaching. There seems to be a lack of detail and fundamental discipline the Buffs are displaying on the field, and a chaotic running of the program off the field. You will not overcome that in the college game with blue-chippers, as the competition is too good.
