Very solid win vs in state rival for Colorado and the coach that doesn’t do a good job with his program, surprising someone hasn’t already congratulated him.

The following below is excerpts from last night's game on CBS from Athlon Sports.

Deion Sanders is under fire for his actions late during Colorado's 28-9 victory against Colorado State on Saturday.

Colorado held a comfortable lead for most of the second half against the Rams. But late in the fourth quarter, Colorado continued to throw the ball, seemingly in an effort to pad quarterback Shedeur Sanders' stats.

"They are fortunate that this wasn't a bigger hit," Tucker said. "Can you imagine what we would be saying all week if Shedeur Sanders got his throwing arm hit in a game where they're up 19 with less than a minute left, and they could have just taken a knee? I don't understand. I have not seen very many teams in my life in NFL or FBS football do that. It's a really interesting choice."

Sanders finished the game with 310 yards and four touchdowns.

I completely agree with what Deion said about this... If CSU is still trying to score, then Colorado should too. 

If a team that is losing thinks the winning team should pull their starters, then the losing team should concede by pulling theirs first. Otherwise, take your whipping and keep quiet.

Agreed.  The losing team in that situation has no say in the matter. 

My only frustration might be if I am a fan of the winning team and you risk injuries to crucial players in an already decided situation.  That said, 28-9 isn't that outlandish.

Yeah, less than 4 TDs isn’t that much to get worked up over. I do find it silly because of the injury risk and heightened emotions which may be associated with trying to stat pad. In fairness, I’m not sure they are thinking about the larger picture.

Okay, another very nice win for Prime and his Buffs! Keep on promoting just two players and keep winning!!

Deion’s disastrous team just keeps rolling, isn’t it amazing how only the promotion of two players can bolt a team forward? Needless to say Prime has all players involved and is doing a great job!!

The best thing going for Colorado, and frankly, all the teams in the Big 12 (16?), is that it is the Big 12. The conference is made up of late teen to fringe top 25 teams up top, so it is not exactly a murderers' row. It's a great illustration of why I'm against auto-qualifiers for the playoffs, but that is for another thread. So in that sense, CU has a decent shot of making the playoffs. The only ranked teams left on their schedule are KSU and Utah, but they get them both at home. I still worry about Sanders' long term health.

Would totally agree, just don’t think Deion is getting enough credit for a total team rather than just two players and watching the Buffs play I see togetherness from coaches and ALL players, I really hope they can make the playoffs but it is a stretch at best.

If Colorado stays in the Big 12 race and/or wins it, then I think Travis Hunter would almost be a lock for the Heisman.  His two-way play would be impossible to ignore versus other candidates.

Absolutely. They've been campaigning for it since week 1 and the Heisman is a hype award, so it makes sense. I am intrigued to see how he's utilized at the next level. I would suspect CB.

I've not watched a lot of Colorado but the biggest difference I've noticed this season, is the play of the front 7 on defense is much better than last season.
