Lex Cath did not play as well as they could have, I think Scott County will give them a better game because Walls and Mackey can handle the pressure better than the Lex Cath guards did on Saturday, not saying Scott County will win, just that the final margin will be much closer and Patterson will get a lot more tired than he did yesterday. Huntington High only goes 6 deep and I think Scott County will try to wear them down.

Where will this game be played at? If its Scott County, that is worth another ten points

I, like alot of other people were at the game to see OJ and Patterson. Very delighted to see that kind of talent on the floor. I would like to see better comp that would let you see the players all out all the time. They know they are not threatened, and they seem to let off at times. Regardless of what any coach may say, they would take either player in a heartbeat. I have never had any problem with Mayo the times I have met him, he is very cordial. He is just one of the best players in the country. He does have room to improve. The next time they play, they should play an all-star team to give them a challenge, LC got the benefit, not HHS. Then we may see a game!

You have to leave in good academic standing...

I enjoued watching the game and I thought Lex Cath gave apretty good account og themselves. I also think they could have done better if not for the hard fought game against Lafayette on Friday night. Is Mayo really that unselfish or just doesn't like to expose his outside shooting weakness?

This is a weakness. 16-24 4-7or8 from 3 point range. Nice weakness.:thumb: :ylsuper:

Oh, stats and facts never sway somes opinion.

Scott Co. plays them twice this year. The home game for Scott Co. is at Memorial. I'm not sure where the game is in Huntington...

Walls and Mackey and the subs and the refs are all going to have to play well for Scott to get the W in this one.

The whole team went to the game while in Lexington...

Did the whole team make an Official Visit?

Are you saying this was Patterson's official visit to UK? If so, WOW!. Things are worse than I thought...

Patterson already took his official visit to UK. UK had no part in HHS being at the game.

Thanks. I just couldn't grasp that claim...

I guess will see in March. If that is the impression you got why would he visit this weekend? Did you ask them that?

don't get upset with me, I'm just going by what the coach told me. It just doesn't look good for U.K.

I was quite impressed by OJ this weekend. That kid was simply the best player out there. He wasn't selfish, passed quite frequently and simply put on a show. I liked how he worked early to get Patterson some nice ally oop dunks on the fastbreaks. Mayo also showed he has a good shot. He was cold early but in the 2nd half missed few of his threes. Patterson was obviously a beast down low but seemed at times to be somewhat non existent. It is very obvious OJ Mayo is the man in Huntington. I also liked their guard #1. He could shoot and also had some nice ups.

As for Lex Cath, they actually played well most the game, sadly, they just aren't at the level Huntington is. Novosel played good down low but there was no way he could post up Patterson. Stewart missed a lot of open 10 foot shots that didn't help matters for the Knights. Still, I thought Lex Cath showed that they are a pretty good team.

Its sad when they lose by 30 one day and actually played better then when they lost by 4 points just the night before (Lafayette)

Outside shooting didn't look weak to me on Saturday. He was lights out.
