I'd prefer a coach that's not reached the age of sixty yet.  Someone that isn't looking to retire at Kentucky simply because they're only a fee years from retirement.

Mitch, probably. He’s much more conservative. It won’t stop any big program with an opening to call him every year he’s at Xavier.

Did Mitch hire Calipari? The coach who had to vacate wins at two different programs after NCAA investigations. He wouldn't hire Sean Miller, who has not forfeited anything?

Time and things change, no way Mitch hires Miller, Pearl or any of the FBI involved coaches. The next AD might, however.

Mitch didn't play as big a role in hiring Cal as he did in hiring Gillespie.  Pratt and company were allowed to pursue Cal.

I agree. I brought him up as a former college HC who is a current NBA HC, not as a candidate. I laugh just as hard when people bring up Brad Stephens.
