Wow, fantastic, Congrats Coach Brohm!

L-YES!

Louisville got their guy...good for them.

Let's hope it starts better than the other beloved alum hire.

Great hire!!! Good for the university and fan base.

At least this hire has actually, you know, been a head coach before.

As Phil Robertson would say....." Everybody's happy, happy, happy!"

What do you call it when the bases are loaded and you hit a home run?

I am sure I could use the Google machine to find this info, but I'm guessing Satt wasn't making nearly $6 million per year at UL....right?

Satt was making $1.6 million last time I checked...

The Cards got the right guy.  I don't know what degree of success will come, but there will be more success than they've had recently, that much I'm confident in.

I don't think we will ever see Louisville return to peak Petrino levels with Brohm, but at the same time you get a guy who will have a raised floor who will re-establish Louisville as a major recruiting force in the Midwest, especially in Kentucky and Indiana. I think Louisville gives him some luxuries and benefits he never quite had at Purdue with marketing and NIL as well.

I think you see Louisville locked in as a Bowl Team nearly every year with some of the occasional 8 win and 9 win regular seasons that get them around the Top 15 and maybe even the isolated years where they are firmly right there with a chance to win the ACC and play in the Orange Bowl.

That is a good place to be!
