Highlands over CCH 20-3 in 2021. CCH was leading 3-0 at Half after Highlands fumbled  3 times inside the 10. I guess that's why you play 2 halves of Football. Sounds like tonight was a fairly good game.

Sounds like a great game. However, I will ask again. Since Highlands didn’t win, does that mean CovCath must have used some sophomores to beat this Highlands team? Or are we done with making false claims now?

It was a good game. A couple plays either way highlands could have won and CCH could have scored 14 more points. Kinda back and forth but overall, good game.

I’ll have to go back and look but I’m assuming you are talking about the Cooper game. Was there talk about sophomores playing down? Can’t remember.

Would like to see the frosh use their big TE more. Had a couple catches in the first have for some pretty good yardage. Varsity has started to get the ball to TE Schneider there which helps open up the field a bit and the Schneider kid is a player. The TE Cluckey boy is a nice player as well. Maybe on the QB sometimes but would like to see the TE get more catches. I think the OLine struggled a bit tonight. I will say I liked the fire in some of the coaches. Sometimes kids need that to get their attention. Just make it about the game and not themselves. Hopefully Birds learn from this game and finish the season strong. Remember #scit!

They played Twice in 2020 with Highlands winning both. It may not show  it in the records books but I know they both agreed to play the last game of the year at Highlands as kind of a Championship with Highlands being victorious. If you dug deep enough and asked around you will find it.

In 2020, they split. CCH won 12-6 at CCH and HHS won at HHS 21-7. 

At least the Highlands players’ face-paint was on point.

@Colonels_Wear_Bluedoesn't miss much! 2020 was and odd season with COVID in high gear. Lots of cancellations and CCH and HHS were clearly the top 2 teams that season. It was a nice job by the two staffs playing multiple times as it made them all better.

A few Highlands people birddaddy being one of them has completely made up a story apparently that Cooper brought people down, or used sophomores in the game against Highlands. Which is no where near true. Yet when those people are called out for their made up lies, they conveniently disappear and don’t respond. I have no idea where people came up with this made up story, I guess they did to try to justify getting handled pretty good that day. Cooper in no way brought anyway down. In fact Cooper as mentioned Cooper didn’t even have their stud freshman QB, because he starts Varsity.
