I haven’t heard that from anyone other than in the post you are referencing. Cooper smoked the Birds that night and it wouldn’t have mattered if they had sophomores or not. Highlands had no answer for Mayer and Campbell. That determined the game, not the kids age. Move on, no one is under the assumption Cooper had an unfair advantage.

CovCath really didn't have an answer for Litmer but he couldn't do it all.  If I was a Highlands fan I would be excited about his QB play in the future.

It was brought up in the game thread, and now again in a completely different thread. So apparently somehow that is out there, so yes people will be called out for posting completely untrue information. Especially when they decide not to respond, when a simple they must have been wrong in what they thought or heard would do.

They played Twice in 2020 with Highlands winning both. It may not show  it in the records books but I know they both agreed to play the last game of the year at Highlands as kind of a Championship with Highlands being victorious. If you dug deep enough and asked around you will find it.

@Colonels_Wear_Bluedoesn't miss much! 2020 was and odd season with COVID in high gear. Lots of cancellations and CCH and HHS were clearly the top 2 teams that season. It was a nice job by the two staffs playing multiple times as it made them all better.

That 2020 year Cooper, CovCath, and Highlands all finished with 1 loss. That Cooper team with Jack Lonaker was scheduled to play Highlands the last game of the year. However, the Campbell County area Highlands is in went into the red area that week for Covid. Which the Boone County district was not letting any of their freshman or JV teams play against a team in a county that was red, because of all the crazy rules at the time. So the Cooper vs Highlands game got cancelled that last week of the year and so Highlands and CovCath was able to work it out last minute to play a second time. With Highlands winning the rematch.

His wide receivers had some drops that would have really changed the game. Ifs and buts…. He will be a special QB. Probably the starter after Benke.
