Covington Catholic vs. Highlands (Frosh) Predictions

Featured Replies

In their first of four years of head to head battles, the young Colonels head across the Licking River to play HHS in Ft. Thomas on Wednesday Sept 18th.

Of note: this is a change in the schedule.

The young Colonels are 3-0 with victories:

35-14 over Cooper

38-06 over Campbell County

33-22 over Simon Kenton

I believe the young HHS Bluebirds are 1-2

13-0 Loss to Simon Kenton

52-35 Loss to Beechwood

26-14 Win over Campbell County

Who wins? Will CVH play, or will young Hentz still be the QB as he is currently leading the Colonels to a 3-0 record?

Of note: CovCath Internet Radio via Mark Wehry of course will be there to bring you this important Frosh game live from the new press-box of HHS.

CCH Frosh by...hmmm... a lot!

From what the painter tells me, the Blueboys will roll in this one. All is good in PH. Even with the PHM. HHS is struggling right now so no surprise if CCH wins. With their talent level, they should. Should be good game either way. Good luck to both teams!

CCH by a bunch. Question will be whether or not they call off the Dogs or inflict some payback.

Lol c'mon. This is frost ball. Surely you aren't insinuating CCH will run up the score. CCH too classy for that IMO. Wait! Right?

I dont know man.... I think the drubbings they have taken at the hands of the Varsity these past several seasons could be festering. LOL

The Bluebirds get blown out??? No way.

I don't care what the respective team records are. Onside kicks, swinging gate field goal attempts, flea flickers, statute of liberty plays, whatever it takes.

A close and highly competitive game is what I predict.

I think the young Colonels will put up some points.....

I just don't know if the baby Bids will be able keep up.....

30 - 12, the boys from Park Hills get this one.

Looks like we are the big underdog and we might have to settle for a moral victory.

Is it possible that we can keep all rosters away from the TOG for anther year???

That is funny!

Birds don't believe in moral victories. Frosh need to keep their heads up and keeo working hard. History would suggest they will have no shortage of success :)

Do freshmen have a running clock rule?

Big show down is tonight.
