Highlands vs Covington Catholic Frosh Finals Predictions

Featured Replies

Lets get this one started.

The Birds won the first game at Highlands by a Touchdown I believe. The Colonels knocked of a Ryle team that defeated the Birds their 2nd game of the year.

I look for this to be a battle of the QB's. McCoy vs. Bir in a classic game played at David Cecil Memorial Stadium in Fort Thomas.

Both teams have very good players and I will pick the Birds to win by 2 points.

Birds 20

Colonels 18

Covington Catholic Colonel Freshman Football vs. Highlands Bluebirds, live from Ft. Thomas for first ever freshman game on CovCath Internet Radio.

My guess and at this point it is only a guess, CovCath Internet Radio will be doing the Frosh Championship game.

BTW I believe HHS won in OT....

Of course I will be picking CovCath

CovCath 30

HHS 24

The 1st game was a OT game as mentioned. CCH tied it up in OT, but it was called back due to a holding penalty.

This game could go either way. I am just glad CCH can match HHS talent now for 3 consecutive years and that will start transitioning over to varsity play next year.

The making of a classic.

Anyway this game can be played on Sat. Night for a great Championship Game atmosphere? HHS played Louisville St. X on a Sat. Night in their first game this year and the crowd was tremendous. It rivaled most Varsity games at other schools.

Hopefully this game is a good one!

Does anyone know if Freshman are allowed to play past the Varsity regular season?

If anyone can get it done, probably TOG. How bout it?

Oh, I didn't think of that one. I think you would be out of luck there my friend.

Sent a note to my people, but with Halloween being that night and the KHSAA Volleyball Finals at NKU being that night also, I am not sure it can be done!

But it can't hurt to try!

So it's Thursday at 6 right?

Yep.

At HHS right?

At HHS right?
Yes, CovCath still doesn't have lights. Is the game at Highlands because of this?

No, HHS was the 1 seed...

Hey, I didn't get any "people." :idunno:

Usually working on Thursday nights but will have to cut out time for this one! I'm going with the Birds 20-14.
